Chapter 50 ~ Reality

*CATHY'S POV*

It's been a week in my father's home. Alexander hasn't contacted me after that night, and I am stuck here, not knowing what to do next. There's no decision my mind made after a lot of thinking, and because of that, I lost my appetite and my sleep for the past nights.

I am afraid of leaving Alexander, but my heart doesn't forgive him as well and doesn't want to confront him. These confused feelings were eating me up inside slowly.

My father has been acting different lately, though. He makes sure I am not bored in the house, had let the maids cook my favorite dishes every day, and even bought me a new phone. He cares for me a lot, and I was feeling happy with the love that I was receiving from him. But the only thing I didn't like was that he would sometimes suggest that I ask for a divorce from Alexander whenever we are on the topic. I guess he hates him, and he can, though after all, our family was ruined because of Alexander's father.
