ASHER YOU HAVE ONE MORE DAY TO GET BACK HOME.

My mom's text reads and I slam the phone face down on the marble counter.

“Ash! What the fuck? You'll break your phone!” my best beta friend, Jayden says as he snatches it out of my hand, and without looking at him, I turn around to leave the bathroom, leaving him to run after me with concern.

“Hey! Don't do anything stupid right now” he says from behind me and I look back at him; he has no idea just how badly I need the so called ‘stupid’ thing.

“Relax, Jay” I say as I make my way back to the dance floor.

The club is booming with life, energy and packed everything I need right now.

“Damn, look at the way he moves!” a girl says from the crowd as I throw my head back as the music thumps through my veins.

My smile is big and bright, I know I’m dazzling under the changing lights.

I'm not really happy, but I let my body sway with music as if I am.

Laughter bubbles at the back of my throat and I swallow down my tears as I throw my hands up, swaying to the rhythm of the music.

“Asher, buddy, I think you should slow down” my female best friend, Aurora, yells in my ear and I shake my head, letting the few strands of thick black curls that aren’t held back in my low ponytail fly all over the place.

I can't slow down, if I do that the troubles I'm running from will swallow me up…and I don't want that.

I don't want to think about it, I don't want to stress, I don't want to worry…I just want to dance the last night of my life away.

The air seems to buzz around me with electrical pulses, and my head snaps up to find grey eyes watching me.

“Oh…” I mutter and both Jayden and Aurora turn their heads to find what I'm looking at.

In the corner of the club an older man stands against the wall with his arms folded, I am a regular at this club, and I have never seen him before, hell, I have never seen a more handsome man in my life.

His arms are folded across his chest and his eyes fixed on me, the first two buttons of his shirt are undone, showing off his broad chest I greedily eye him from where I stand.

He looks like everything I didn't know I need but I now want, I have always been attracted to men like that, Alpha, predatory and confident…commanding.

“Asher” Jayden calls my name with a warning tone.

“Yeah?” I answer without looking at him.

“Oh my god, Asher no, don't even think about it” Aurora yells over the music and turns my attention back to her.

The petite girl's blue eyes are wide open with worry for me.

“I don’t even get what is going on in your head tonight” Jayden mumbles under his breath, “there’s nothing wrong with wanting a man that’s built like that” I say as my eyes trace his body, he knows I'm watching him just like he's watching me.

I tilt my head for him to be sure that I know he's looking, both of us are playing a game of push and pull from the distance.

The man's eyes trace my body, I am only wearing a simple but sheer white shirt that slips off my shoulder occasionally, I have on a pair of black pants that cling to my body like a second skin.

Even I know what I look like with my hair pull back in a low manbun bun to show off my face, I nod my head at him, a subtle acknowledgement and the man doesn't move.

I'm daring him to come.

“Jesus, Asher, he could be anyone!” Aurora says.

“He could be in my bed, that's all I care about” I say to Aurora, meeting her worried eyes, “he could be one of those asshole alpha” Jayden says and I ignore him.

“Think twice” Aurora says and I lean in to give her a big kiss on her cheek, “I don't want to think twice" I say before turning around.

I might regret everything tomorrow but tonight, I'm going to have everything I want without restraint.

I'm going to be greedy and have my way.

The strange man leans back in his seat the closer I get, I can see that his body is tensed in his seat, but his eyes stay glued on me as I climb up the stairs to him.

When I arrive at where I should meet him, three men get to their feet and blocks my path.

“Let him through” the man says and I walk past them, something about him calls me to him, maybe it's the way my blood is rushing in my ear from dancing for so long, maybe it's the way he's looking at me…maybe it's the way he calls me without words.

All I know is that, tonight, I want him.

I stand in front of him, and he looks up at me with a blank face, I look down at him with expectations.

“You're calling for trouble, omega” he says.

“I know” I whisper and he chuckles, the sound is low but somehow it seems louder than the music.

“Name?” he asks me.

“Danny” I lie and he hums as his eyes trace my body, slowly caressing the exposed skin of my chest, then down my hips and to my feet…just the heat of his stare is enough to send blood rushing to my cock.

Getting up, we both make our way to a locked room that opens with a card he's with while I wait.

The second we are in the room, he turns me around and pushes me against the door, putting his hot mouth on mine.
