Cade’s POV
Mr. Warner fired a shot at Hira’s left shoulder. “And Cade, thank you for everything, I’m grateful.” He smiled. He then pointed the gun at me and shot at my stomach. The pain of bullets piercing inside my stomach was unbearable as my head slowly getting hazy. I coughed out blood. “I thought you’re my ally?”
“Not anymore, now that I achieved my goal, you are useless.”
“How dare you!” I yelled in anger, attacking him when he pointed a gun at me but Hira came to shield her body on me. There was a deafening silence for a moment as we watched her body falling to the ground. We were both on the ground, lying on our backs. "W-Why....did you save me?" I asked. Is she on her right mind? I betrayed her. I deserve to be killed.
"I hate you, I expected so much from you that I never even once had suspicions on you, Cade. But I want to see you rot…in jail," She barely manage

Take care, Love you.” At that, he hung up.I decided to have a mini at-home spa day for the rest of the afternoon after I took my lunch. I took a nice long batch with my favorite bubble bath with a rose scent, putting on my favorite facemask, eye mask, lip scrub, and all the other skincare in my routine. I always took great care of my appearance.I had my dinner first before putting on my makeup by myself and putting on my dress. It’s normally quiet in the house since everyone is busy, my father at the agency working overtime, my brother at his friend's house, and my mom shopping having her ‘me’ day at wherever I’m not sure of.

It is obvious that the Mafia Poll is behind this.” I heard Uncle Cade’s voice as he marched inside the room.“No. This is not them. They made it seem that way.
