Chapter 13 – Sabotage

"I was sorry for what happened to you today," he said honestly.

She irritably wipes the tears coming from her eyes and squeezes her blurred eyes, “why are you standing here and where is your secretary, and driver?” Her gaze scans the surroundings, but the vehicle is nowhere to be seen.

"They – have a business to attend to and will be back in a minute," he excused.

"But why did you come here to wait?" She dropped her head and took a few steps forward.

“I’m worried about you,” she was moved by his sincerity that her heart skips a beat. He stand closer to him and tucked her hair behind her ears making her look at him.

Schina’s face flushed while looking at him, she feels like the world suddenly stops, and everything around them is gradually wiped out and the only thing she saw is him as the pink leaves are falling from its stem.
