Chapter Ten

"Five days? I thought I fell unconscious a few minutes ago." Sara said and leaned on his body. Her muscles felt weak and tired. "I'm hungry." She uttered quietly.

Aldophus was about to climb down from the bed when the Alpha walked in. His domineering and prideful aura filled the room making Sara pressed herself against Aldophus impulsively.

"I've ordered the maids to bring in your meal. First you'll tell me what you saw," he said with authority. His eyes staring deep into hers and Sara felt he could see through her heart.

Aldophus took a glance at Sara who was beside him with a confused look, his eyes were asking her what the alpha met by that.

Sara stared daggers at the Alpha for sometime before replying, "I fell unconscious for five days but I saw nothing."

Aldophus knew what the Alpha asked was true because he was the one who sent for the healers. Healers were magical creatures who wore black veils and hats. It was rare to find a healer except someone of high position.
