Chapter Twenty-four

After three days, Adolphus and his crescent pack went for a hunt up the hill. They had caught numerous animals because it was a while he had gone out and they were mostly psyched to have the leader of their hunt.

The pack returned late in the afternoon, cheering about the biggest hunt they had made since ever. They had caught a mountain lion and Adolphus drove a stake to its heart. They were all speaking about and you could be sure that that would be the center of most of their discussion in a very long time.

Adolphus was in a long discussion with Lane and as he entered into his room, they barely noticed Sara inside until she shifted the bedside causing a little disturbance.

“Oh! Sorry, I didn’t notice you have a visitor” Lane apologized to Adolphus and he left the room.

Of course, even Adolphus wasn’t even expecting a visitor at that time let alone Sara.
