Ben walked into his house that evening, loosening up his tie, which was suffocating at that point, and he collapsed onto the bed in his room. He had let Beatrice go cause well, he had started to get swayed by her seduction, and he had seen her face change by his suggestion. The party was over and Beatrice could finally breathe. It had been crazy meeting Santiago like that, but she guessed she would have had to meet him sometime later.“See you tomorrow,” she said when they got to her apartment building and she got off.
