Chapter 16- Hidden Talent

A month had passed, and I hadn’t left Kaleb’s side at the hospital. He had been put in a medical induced coma and no one knew when he would gain consciousness again or if he ever would.

I kept telling myself that this was all just a bad dream, and that Kaleb would wake up sooner or later, something no one else from my family wanted to believe.

Losing hope was the last thing I wanted do, so instead of sulking and wasting any more time then I had already I decided to take matters in my own and find out what really happened on the night Kaleb had the car accident.

Although the doctors had confirmed that he had been drinking on the night of the crash, I refused to believe that was the primary reason he had lost control of the car and crashed into a stationary lorry on a highway.
