Chapter 27

Hayden’s pov

The cold air gushed on my fur as I hissed in pain. Some of my injuries were taking longer to heal, so I raced towards the stream furiously.

The day had been exhausting, from one problem to another.

I needed time alone, I had to stop going to the festival. It was getting annoying annually.

Maybe we should cancel it, there was no love amongst us so what was the pretense for? I was done with the pretense! All of this had to stop!

After the episode with my wolf, I still had to let him out to clear my thoughts.

I had to find a cure for my problems, it was getting unbearable. Every time it happens, I find it harder to control

myself from going on a killing spree.

I did not want to be that guy anymore.

The air around me suddenly stilled making me more furious. These days, it was hard for me to just leave my house peacefully, there were always people waiting to kill me.

    Nova's POVThe sun peeked through the window and I walked to the other side not wanting to stand, I needed more sleep.     Hayden's POVI groaned opening my eyes to find myself still in the room, it was dark but I recognized the room the way it was at noon. I stood from the mat and I glanced around the room, I noticed no one's presence as I stepped out of the room, it was dark outside but there were lanterns hung through the hallway. The breeze blew slowly and I walked enjoying the fresh flow as I headed to the balcony, I stopped at the end of the hallway noticing a woman standing on the balcony.I would have turned to leave hug but I needed time for myself and the balcony was the perfect place for me, also I wasn't the one who was meant to leave, whoever was standing there was meant to leave once I got there.
