The sound of a loud slap resonated within the walls of the living room followed by Katherine’s shrieking voice, “How could you do this to me, huh? I trusted you so much..” She spoke between her sobs.

Rodrick had detailed everything from the night to Harris, before he even reached Manhattan. He was preparing for this and he embraced it willingly. “I’m not sorry for what I did.” He murmured, escalating Katherine’s fury more than tenfold.
