Emma's POV
This dress was killing me. I opted for something not too fancy but at the end Crystal ordered this lilac gown that almost ripped when I walked in the heels.
"I could take it off you, if you want" Drew whispered as he held to my arm tightly handing the man our invitation cards to the engagement party.
I was impressed with him. The fact that he went out of his way to bring me here in Nebraska and today well he looked like the type of man you'd want to marry in church. The tux, his rugged brown hair and that cologne that wafted through the air and caught my attention. He was my escort at the last minute after I realized I couldn't go to Nebraska all alone without someone close to back me up from the men who would try to flirt with me and also he had a certain party to attend here as a token of appreciation to one of our investors.
It was only an engagement party but it seemed more than that.
