Kyle slid his back down against the wall as soon as he was out of their sight. His body still shaking and hands trembling from the truth he was faced with.

He didn't lose Dylan.

**He's still alive.**

"...he's alive." he muttered to himself.

A huge wave of relief coarsed through his whole body. He hugged his legs in and buried his face in them as he felt his eyes receiving another page of tears. He was so glad. It was the best news he could ever remember getting in all his years on earth. Dylan's warmth was real, he spoke to him, hugged him, Dylan smiled at him. It was the only thing he had prayed for the whole time he was lost in his despair, and it fianally came through.

It did come true.

Dylan was right in front of him, he wanted to hug him tight and hold his hands through his tears, he wanted to hold him tight and never let him go, but the feeling overshadowing his joy was nothing more but his fear. He had no idea how much that day had numbed all of his other feelings, unti

  • His silent voice.   Forceful takeback.

"Don't get too comfortable just yet, Kyle," Theo stopped him, "The problem now is the requirement Jace needed to treat him.""What is that?""Dylan has to morph into his full dragon self.""What? No, that's insane. That would only hurt Dylan.""Not with Jace being around," Terry vouched. "Jace can handle the wounds, but the most important thing he needs to be able to carry out his healing is that you must be in Dylan's presence. If you're with him, he could calm down from the presence of his mate and it would calm Dylan down enough to carry out the healing. Right now, Dylan isn't holding back anything because he trusts you would go to him." "He's letting out his emotions and morphing with every minute we waste." Lucas added."And we had a maximum of five minutes to get you there, but now we realize the time here is messed up, we can't tell how much time we've wasted or how much longer we have, and here you are chained and impossible to get out." Theo exhaled. "So this is where you

  • His silent voice.   Rescue.

Kyle let himself sink into the silence of the room, his eyes still on the chains he had tried to break free of. After a number of failed attempts, he weakly let his hands fall to the floor. What was the point of trying to break free anyway? He had no intention of going back down to the world to show his face to everyone. His place was now the courtroom, so it didn't matter if Heralis chained him up or if he left the room. It didn't matter if she was trying to take him down with her… or would it?Would Dylan care if anything happened to him? After all the pain he made him go through, would he still care? From his question to himself, Dylan's face popped back in his head. The look of anger and fear in his face when he held him back from leaving, but even more than those looks… he saw the gaze that had always assured him.His eyes fell to the ground and he let out an exhale. He didn't know what to think anymore. After knowing Dylan was okay, his head began to hurt, his eyes felt heavy as

  • His silent voice.   Reclaim.

Jace stared at him in silence for a moment, then he nodded. Giving the only answer his ears needed to hear. "Alright, we should go in then." Jace went in first, then his legs followed after. The others followed behind them and he saw Jace step into the middle of the living room. "Everyone, I need this place cleared out." "The furnitures?" Theo asked. "Everything," Jace answered. "The tv, the vase, the table... I need a wide space cleared out." "A-alright."At his request, everbody started grabbing everything they could. He joined in to speed things up, and the glass table at the middle didn't have anyone's attention yet. He went down to carry it up but the second his hand touched it, the shattering piece made everyone including himself flinch. They all stared at him while being frozen in place, and all he could do was stare down at the shattered pieces that only irritated him further and slowly pushed him to try something different. "I--" "Dylan," May cuts him off, rushing o

  • His silent voice.   Rejection.

For a minute, it all felt a little too real. Not until the others caught up to him."Dylan-- Oh my god.""Oh my god!""....Kyle."He blinked at the words that didn't come from him. Meaning they all could also see Kyle."Oh god, Kyle." Mrs. Waltson's voice melted up and his body instantly reacted. He rushed down the porch and while striding over, his doubt didn't leave him until he pulled Kyle in a hug he was finally allowed access to. His body and warmth felt real against his, he annoyingly had Heralis scent covering him up but getting over the obsession gave him the clear and overflowing scent of his beloved lemon scent. It truly was Kyle."...Kyle." the words left his mouth and he pulled Kyle in a deeper hug. His tears moving uncontrollable as his heart went through the best relief it ever experienced. "Kyle," he pulled back with a sniffle and finally got a good look at the brown eyes he had missed so much and curbed his cheek. "Are you okay? How are you here? H-how are you feeling

  • His silent voice.   A month regeneration.

"Yes, honey. It's me."He took her hands in his and gave them a squeeze before he could believe his eyes."Mom... oh god, mom." he shifted with his heart now racing in his chest from a rush of emotions. "A-are you really okay? Does your body hurt? D-do you feel anything wrong on you?" he grew concerned. "Hold on, should you be out of the hospital already?""She's fine, Dylan." Bree's voice stole his attention from the side, and his head turn made him realize how busy the room had gotten. From Bree, he could see his dad, Lana and Terry, Lucas, Mr and Mrs. Waltson, and a lady he could not recognize standing next to Aaron."Why are you all here?""We were worried about you, honey," his mom held him again with tears in her eyes. "God, you had us worried."She pulled him in a hug again while he was still left in a daze."I'm sorry mom, it was all my fault. It's all my fault she found me and did that to you--""No, no honey, it's not. I'm sure you were scared, but it's okay now. Hm?" she ru
