He stayed frozen in place.
"Dylan, You okay?!" his mom's loud voice came from below. They'd left his door open. "Y-yeah, I'm fine." The hell? Why did his back hurt so much? And not just his back, other places that weren't supposed to be hurting did so much that sitting up suddenly felt like a big chore. "What the hell did I do to myself last night?" his eyes agape in wonder. He searched through his brain for anything but sadly, all he had seemed to have gone with his drunken state. His head hurt from thinking too much, and while he pressed the bridge of his nose for comfort while still holding on to his dear back, he still had to head to the restroom. With the little strength he had left, he dragged his aching parts and limped his way to shut his door before heading to the bathroom. As soon as he pushed the door open, he felt something pour down his legs and he frowned. What now? Did he wet himself? He went faster to the toilet for his business and then realized, that hadn't come from the front but behind. Confusedly, his hand grazed between his thighs and he fell more into confusion as he observed what had stained his hands. Something all too familiar, it wasn't his first time seeing it because he had produced that himself. But now the question was, "Why is it coming out of there?" he peered down at himself to see he wasn't mistaken. His current position made him wince in pain from his back ache, then he could slowly point out the places that held pain. "What's going on? I've never had so many questions after one drunk night." he grumbled to no one in particular as he stood thoughtfully. Trying his hardest to remember anything at all from the previous occasion. He was a virgin, but he wasn't that clueless about the wild life. Videos are there for a reason, and he'd seen and heard of some aftereffect of sleeping with someone. But his chuckle evaded the thought at once. "Come on, Dylan, like that's an option. You're smarter than that." he chuckled again and let out a sigh of defeat. He was with the others, so they should know what went down. With that, he moved on to tear a stack of toilet roll, wiped himself off without much thought. His clothes smelt like alcohol and threw him off, so he took it all off. He might as well just take a bath while he was at it, he thought and made his way to the sink. He turned the tap on, threw his hand under the running water, and then made the choice of looking in the wall mirror. Frozen. That's how he was for a whole minute, the word *save the ocean* was no longer a business of his as the water gushed down his hands stuck in place. "...ha." A sharp exhale escaped his lips, his widen eyes forgetting how to blink. Bite marks, bite marks, hickeys, and more bite marks, scattered all over his body down to his legs. His wet hand slowly went up to touch his neck. Don't freak out Dylan, it's probably just a lipstick stain, he calmed himself. But the moment his fingers brushed against the bite mark that didn't clean up, instead stung him. His lids finally moved and his mouth spread open. "AAAAHHHHHH!" he screamed at the top of his voice. "WHAT THE FUCK?!!!" It's real! it's freaking real! It dawned on him the more he rubbed at his skin. "Oh my god," he stumbled back, cupping his forehead as he felt a strong headache hit him at once. "Dylan!" his mom's voice came into his room. She sounded close now, "What is wrong with you today? Are you okay?" "Ah! I'm losing it! I'm losing it! I'm really losing it!" he strides in an attempt to head out but then remembered he was stark naked. "No, no no no...it's gone!" "What?!" "It's gone, it's gone, mom!" he panicked. "What are you saying? What's gone?!" His virginity! His sanctuary which he'd kept so much self pride in... it was gone. And he didn't know who took it! He rushed back to the mirror, and the blushing nightmare was still in place. His head fell back in dismay. "Hahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" "Dylan?!" "Who's that bastard?" he glared up into space. "I'm going to shave off all his hair when I get him, that crazy..." "Dylan! Language!" "Mom! Mom, mom" he shot up, the next step to take rushing in. "help me get my phone." "It's on my bed, quick." he rushed. "Are you sure you're okay?" his mom asked while she went ahead to get his phone. He held the door shut to a minimal where only his phone could pass through. "Yes, yes I'm fine, mom. I just remembered I lost something really important and I need to find out who took it." No way he was going to tell her about it or even let her see the marks on him. He still hasn't come out to them, so how on earth could he tell her the truth. "Okay, if you say so," she sounded confused while handing him the phone. As soon as he had it in his hand, he shut the door close and waited for her to step out. "try to keep it down though, we don't want any complains coming in." "Y-yeah, sorry mom. And could you shut the door behind you? I don't have my cloths on." "Got it." He waited till he heard the door shut, then he peeked out the bathroom door to be sure his mom. had truly left. After confirming, he slapped in Kira's number on his screen and it only took a ring to get her to pick up. "K-" "Hey!" her jolly voice cuts him off. "Jackson the second! You're up? How's your head?" He blinked, completely lost. "What would be wrong with my head? And who's jackson the second?" "What? You don't remember? I knew it, remind me to never let your ass get anywhere near alcohol again." she chuckled. "Look, Kira," he snapped, his head already full as it was. "There's a bigger issue than that. Last night, did I step out alone anytime at the party, and who did I meet up with?" "What?" she went quiet for a minute, "Dude, it was so hard to keep watch over you last night. You were like a walking tornado. You literally met and talked to every living soul around for the party. Oh, wait, we did lose you one time." "What?" his heart sank. "That was towards the end though, and Theodore went after you." Dylan blinked. "...T-Theodore? As in Theodore, my neighbor Theodore?" his eyes widened. "Yeah, why? Did something happen?" He went quiet for a minute, "No, no it's fine. Thanks." He cuts off the call before she could mention another thing, then he took in a deep breath and stared into space as his emotionss got all mixed up inside. Theodore went after him. Theo went after him. Why though? If that's true then... "My god," he softly cupped his mouth. He give it a deep thought, "Did I sleep with Theo...? But he has a girlfriend... Or does he swing both ways?" He mumbled his thoughts to himself, analysing every posibility he could come up with. "This is crazy. Absolutely crazy." He sighed tiredly, brushing his hair back in dismay. What he found more crazy was how he couldn't deny how he felt at the moment, he'd been so distressed when he found the bite marks, but now that the possible cause of those marks and the loss of his first time could be Theodore... his agitation and anger from a minute ago almost felt like it wasn't there in the first place. "I mean, if Theo really is my first... I guess I can overlook it." His eyes met the mirror and he couldn't believe he had a little smile on his lips. "You freaki-" he frowned and quietly groaned through his gritted teeth. "UGH! Dylan, you're so stupid! You freaking IDIOT, ugh!" Unbelievable, what the heck was he just thinking? With his attitude, how sure was he that he hadn't been the one to jump Theodore? "Hold on," his head shot up at the possible act and he cupped a gasp. "Oh my god, ohmygod I might've done that. My stupid ass could've done that, Oh no, oh no no. I must be crazy." He slumped down in a squat while regretting his life decisions and aching pain that didn't seem like it would leave any time soon. How was he supposed to face him now? For a moment, the room remained silent. Then his head came up with a sigh, there was only one way to stop the ache in his head and sort himself out. "I have to meet Theo and ask him myself." He got up with a determined look, then his eyes met the reflection of his body's state and his face flushed up. "Seriously though, did he have to bite so much?" He walked away and hurried to meet up the dinner as his only chance. It took him a while to clean up and get dressed, it was all still strange to him but the reccuring ache from every of his movement made told him it was all real. What would he do if Theo does confess to being the one who he had slept with? It probably wouldn't work out. He might get a *Hey, I'm sorry, it was a drunken mistake. I still love my girlfriend so if we can just pretend this never happened?* That would hurt. Or he could get a *Hey, I loved what we had last night, what do you think we keep this up. My girlfriend doesn't have to know." Dick move, he wasn't down for that. So many scenarios played up in his head, and it didn't take him long to find himself outside, waiting on their front porch, dressed in a gray turtleneck, a loose hoodie and black pants. He straightened his bangs and shifted nervously while quietly clearing out his throat. Here goes nothing. He pressed the doorbell and waited patiently, someone's approaching footstep made his heart beat, then the door fell open and he almost let out a sigh of relief. The beautiful curly brown haired woman met his eyes with her beautiful brown, and in less that than five seconds of trying to recognize him, a big smile curled up her lips. "Dylan?!" She knew his name? "That's me," he gave her a composed smile. "Good evening, I hope I'm not too late?" "Of course not! I'm so glad you could make it, come on in." she gestured in and he took the invite. "The boys were so sad to hear you couldn't make it, they'll be so happy to see you." The boys? he questioned as he took off his shoes. It didn't take him long to understand what she meant, the moment he stepped into the sitting room, except his family already sitted at the table with Theodore's dad, at the corner stood three others who seemed busy. "Dylan made it!" The announcement called the attention of the three, and Dylan stopped in his track as they all turned in his direction at once. Three honey brown eyes met his and he suddenly forgot how to breath.~~*~~ “Haa, they really found nothing wrong.” Dorry exhaled as they stepped out of the doctor's office. Upon seeing him and consulting a doctor, he was made to take a few tests. Some where nothing came off as unusual, and others where he had to come back for a result. “I told you they wouldn't." he replied, exhausted from all the walking that not only drained him out but also made him feel sleepy as hell. His eyes went around the waiting room, noticing the other presence that was absent. “Where's Kira?” “Said she wanted to grab a drink,” Dorry linked her arm with his in support and lead him to take his seat in the waiting area. "Thanks." "Those are the prescribed drugs, right?" she asked, staring at the paper in his hands and he nodded. Not having the strength to pull himself up, not for another ten minutes. "Give it, I'll go get it." she took the paper out of his hand and said lastly. "Just wait here, Kira should be back soon, okay?" He nodded. "Yeah, thank you guys." "Don
It's not stopping.Dylan clenched hard at his head for his dear life, crouched down in pain as he sat over the closed toilet seat. It's been a little over three days since his hideaway at Dorry's house, and he couldn't feel himself getting any better. "What's happening to me?"His tired sigh croaked. The pain wasn't supposed to last so long. The first time it happened after their night together at the hotel, fine, he did take a few sneaky trips to the restroom over the night, the next morning however, he was almost all better, and the ride home sealed the healing over him. When he had done it again after Aaron warned him, he had sworn he was only going to give Kyle one more fill before taking a break. He hadn't planned one for a day long because he didn't want Kyle facing Heralis half way prepared. It honestly scared him. Saying he was heading out to Dorry's place was just a wild excuse he had used to get away from Kyle's room before he could get any black surprises down his eyes, a
His hands twitched, Terry's words being the most offensive he had heard in all his years alive. Seemingly, his face had tightened up with his real emotion because Terry looked scared for a minute as he was forced to apologize."I-I'm sorry."He blinked, swallowing and shifting his gaze while trying to stay calm. **Don't be.** he pressed at the bridge of his nose. He shouldn't scare them off, he had still not gotten to the question that had him head over to the hotel. If what they said was right... and the latter wrong, did that also mean Aaron was right?Dylan still looked fine when they saw the previous day so who was he to believe? **Actually, there is something else that brought me here today? I need help. A dragon is hurt and I want to find a way to heal his wounds without triggering too much.**"May I ask how he's hurt?" Lana asked carefully.**He had his scales pulled out.**Their low gasps pulled a huge wince of pain and worry over their faces."Oh my... please tell me it's n
“Please, have a seat.” Lana smiled so hard he couldn't find himself able to turn down her offer. “Terry, go get him something to drink.”She shot her brother a quick whisper, but he wasn't willing to spend another minute with them. It felt odd to find someone else tolerating him aside his family and the Kerwoods.**There would be no need for that. Can we… just get straight to the point?**“Oh right, sorry.” Lana sat on the couch across him, their room arrangement appearing quite homely despite it being a hotel. “Please ask me anything at all.”He sighed softly, leaning forward while judging her trustworthiness.**Before I say anything, can you swear that nothing I ask will leave this room.**“I swear on my core.” Lana dropped immediately and he blinked in shock, her lack of hesitation to put her core on the line did hit him in shock. But he wasn't feeling too fazed by it, he had seen a promise get broken anyway. Why so sure someone else wouldn't do the same? His attention got drawn by
**Impossible.**He stared into space in disbelief, his hours of thinking had only ended with him realizing a bitter truth he never thought would come to hunt him.He had no one to turn to. **Haa, I can't believe the only dragons I can turn to are Aaron and May.** he exhaled heavily, running his fingers through his hair in growing concerns. **I should've been nicer to people.**He groaned quietly. It had never been an habit of his to please people, make friends or be nice, or go out of his way to, and it was a way of living he held even more with dragons. Those prideful big built bullies who could make a ton out of their pride, ego, and selfish nature. He had no reason to befriend them when they had nothing but trouble associated with them. The room fell silent.**Who am I kidding? I'm the problem.**He slumped back down the bed with a big exhale, shutting his eyes and drowning in the quiet of his helplessness.**Ugh, if only I could get across to Ma--**His eyes flew open at the tho
The night earlier, as soon as he stepped away from the Kerwood's house and Bree went back in, he took out his phone to send Dylan a text when he noticed he had missed one that had laid in waiting for him. ~~I’ll be staying the night at Dorry's place. They've got a few things they need me to put them through so I'll just stay behind and get back home tomorrow.~~ **Oh.** A small pout curved his lips, **I've always wanted him to sleep over at our pla– wait, that's not the issue right now.** He pressed his forehead and typed back into his phone. ~~Alright, I'll see you tomorrow then.~~ He paused and typed in again. ~~I need to talk to you, let me know when you're back in.~~ He let out a sigh and went back into the house. He didn't feel good having Dylan stay a distance away from him, not after he had called out Heralis. He had to be on his guard, because her first move would be to go after what could hurt him first. Therefore, Dylan staying away wasn't such a good idea. B
