LIORA'S Point of view

“Are you jealous, my slave?” he said it low, like a threat. “Did it hurt watching me give someone else what you’ll never be worth?”

“I said no. No, I don’t feel jealous.” The words scraped out.

I didn’t know if I was lying to him or to myself. My lips moved, but the pain never left my chest. It twisted deeper the more I pictured her hands on him, her mouth breathing his name, her body where mine never belonged.

I couldn’t let him see it. Couldn’t let him see how broken I was, how badly I wanted to rip the image out of my mind. So I stayed silent. Let the lie rot between us.

He didn’t take it well.

“You’re a liar,” he snarled.

Before I could breathe, his hand closed around my throat. Not enough to choke, but enough to warn. His fingers pressed in, jaw locked with fury, eyes cutting through me.

“You want to play the silent game?” he growled. “You think I don’t see it written all over your face?”

I said nothing. Didn’t flinch. Just stood there, spine stiff, holding

  • His to Break: The Biker Alpha's Hated Mate   CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY SEVEN

The next morning, I woke to the gentle light spilling through the curtains and the sudden realization that he was not beside me. My heart lurched in panic. My mind immediately raced to Amari. My son. My baby. What had I done?I scrambled out of bed, my bare feet making soft thuds against the floor as I rushed toward the living room. And then I froze. There he was, Amari, in Draven’s arms. Alpha Draven. And instead of the tension I had braced myself for, he was smiling, holding Amari carefully while spinning him gently around. The sound of Amari’s laughter filled the room, and for the first time in what felt like forever, I saw Draven in a light I had never imagined. For a moment, I simply stood there, rooted to the spot, my chest tight and my mind struggling to comprehend what I was witnessing. Draven’s face was radiant with joy. His eyes softened as he looked down at my son. The way he held Amari, protective yet completely relaxed, broke something

  • His to Break: The Biker Alpha's Hated Mate   CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY SIX

I took his hand, letting him guide me along the garden path. The morning air smelled of damp earth and wildflowers, a quiet contrast to the tension that had always clung to this place. Draven walked beside me, his steps measured, his presence heavy yet somehow comforting."You’ve been different," I said after a while, trying to sound casual though my heart felt like it was hammering. "I mean, all of this… the way you interact with Amari, with me… it’s… unexpected."He glanced at me, his eyes softened by the sunlight. "I’ve had time to think," he said quietly. "To realize what mattered. What matters."I swallowed hard, unsure if I wanted to hear the rest. "And?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper."And you," he said simply. His hand brushed mine, lingering just a moment longer than necessary. "I was an idiot, blinded by anger. I hated your father for things I didn’t understand. I let that hatred control me, controlled how I treated you."I stopped walking and turned to face him,

  • His to Break: The Biker Alpha's Hated Mate   CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY FIVE

The following days felt like walking through someone else’s dream, a life I never believed I’d be living again. The packhouse, once cold and echoing with Draven’s orders, began to soften. His voice, once sharp and cutting, carried warmth now, restraint even when frustration flashed in his eyes. It was strange to see, stranger still to feel his presence without fear tugging in my chest. He woke before dawn, the way he always did, but instead of barking orders at the Omegas or checking reports with that perpetual scowl, he started his mornings quietly. I would wake to the smell of coffee and the low sound of him talking to Amari, our little boy, in that deep, calm voice that used to make warriors freeze. That same voice now read stories about wolves and stars. One morning, I stood at the kitchen doorway, half-hidden, watching him. Amari sat on his lap, his tiny hands gripping Draven’s leather bracelet as he babbled something only a mother could understand. Draven nodded as if every soun

Her mouth opened, then closed again, but the fire in her expression faltered beneath his stare. The room’s air thickened; even my breathing felt wrong to disturb it. Draven’s authority didn’t need to be shouted, it lived in every measured syllable, every quiet exhale that dared no interruption. He walked closer, his steps deliberate, the weight of his dominance pressing down like a storm about to break. “You’re forgetting something, Celeste,” he said, his voice low, laced with iron. “You may be the mother of my child, but that doesn’t give you the right to insult her.”Her painted smile cracked. “Draven, I’m only telling the truth,” she said bitterly, crossing her arms. “You’ve been blinded again. You think she deserves to walk in here and take everything we built? After all she’s done? After all—”“Don’t.” His voice sliced through hers, calm but cutting. “Don’t rewrite what never belonged to you.”She blinked, confusion and anger flashing in her eyes. “What are you saying?”Draven’s

  • His to Break: The Biker Alpha's Hated Mate   CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY THREE

The moment we stepped inside the packhouse, my heart felt like it was being pulled in a thousand directions. The scent, the sound of footsteps, the hum of voices—it all came rushing back, so achingly familiar it made my throat tighten. My son stirred against my shoulder, mumbling sleepily, and I tightened my arms around him as if the motion alone could ground me.Draven walked slightly ahead, silent, his presence enough to part the air around us. Every wolf we passed lowered their heads in respect, but I could feel their curiosity brushing against me like whispers in the dark. They remembered me. The Alpha’s old ghost. The one who had vanished and now returned with a child who bore his eyes. And then I saw her, Luna. She was standing by the grand hall, her soft brown hair pinned loosely, her apron dusted with flour like she’d been baking again, just as I remembered. When her eyes landed on me, they widened, shimmering with disbelief.“Liora?” Her voice cracked. She pressed a trembling

  • His to Break: The Biker Alpha's Hated Mate   CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY TWO

Alpha Draven stood outside the gate, his tall figure cloaked in black. His presence was still the same, commanding, dark, magnetic. He was watching me with eyes that burned like amber in the morning light, and in that gaze was something I hadn’t seen before, something raw, fragile, almost human. For a moment, my throat locked, my words trapped beneath all the years of pain and misunderstanding. My little boy stirred in my arms, his small hand reaching up to tug at my hair. That tiny touch gave me the strength I needed.“Alpha Draven,” I called softly, stepping forward, my voice trembling though I tried to hide it. “Please… I need to stay here.”He didn’t move at first. His eyes swept from my face to the child in my arms, then back again. The way his expression softened almost broke me. I knew he already recognized the boy—the resemblance was undeniable. The same dark hair, the same piercing eyes. Our child. His son.I swallowed hard. “I know you have every reason to send me away,” I w
