Lucas P.o.v

"What did you think you just did, Lucas?" Mother yelled and Ava turned to look at her.

"Why are you shouting at my father?" Ava frown and I chuckled lightly.

"Because he is my son, why can he give his card to that girl? Why just how Lucas? Why did you do that?" Mother yelled again and Ava flinched.

"He is my father so stop yelling at him, I don't like it when you shout at my Dad" she says. Mum didn't say any more words, she knew she's no match to Ava. I drove to Dad compound and Ava rushed down from the car.

"Grandpa!" She called and ran inside the mansion. I came down from the car and mum rushed to my front.

"Hope it's not what I am thinking?" She asked and placed her hand on her waist.

"I don't know what you're thinking, but I am glad to tell you that it wasn't what you're thinking" I says and rushed after my daughter, I can hear her grumping voice, but I just pretended as if I didn't hear anything. It's better to pretend than to listen to whatever she has to
