It is late, the sky outside is pitch black, the moon isn’t full either, a quarter moon only. Not showing me enough light as I enter the woods. I’ve parked my car under some trees out of the way to avoid anyone else being around from knowing my presence. Not that I expect that anybody else will be crazy enough to be outside in the woods at this time of night.

It's gone midnight. Blake wasn’t in when I left thank goodness. The last thing I need is for him trying to snoop into my business and wonder what I am up to leaving home dressed all in black, my hoodie over my head.

Treading cautiously, I walk through the trees only hearing the faint sound of an owl. It’s like it is guiding me further in to the thicket of the forest. My heart is hammering against my chest. What if I see the big wolf again with the startling eyes and the big black body?
