“Ferran,” someone called his name so he lost his deep thoughts. “Finally you’re here. We need to get the statement of the rape victim, Georgia Ramos. He is SPO1 Rouvie Sanchez, Ferran’s partner, and friend. He doesn’t care about Alfarez and Ferran’s issue so he casually deals with everyone but of course, he is really close to Ferran. “Okay. Let’s go.” He gets his cap and leather jacket before he leaves his cubicle. PO2 Jennifer Jimenez smiled at him as they passed by the front desk but he didn’t give her at least one glance because he went straight out of the station and got into the police car. Ferran was taken care of by the nurse when SPO1 Sanchez arrived at the hospital. He got a few scarce but he barely noticed it because he was thinking of something more important.“Ferran,” Sanchez exclaimed when he saw his wounded friend. “What are you doing here? The hospital reported about the incident and Georgia was---”“Murdered,” Ferran stated.“H-How—” Sanchez was interrupted by someone who had just arrived.“You are the last to be seen when the incident happened. Maybe you were involved?” SPO2 Alfarez suddenly appeared somewhere and looked at him suspiciously. He could not help but answer it with condemnation.“Are you accusing me? Hah! Unbelievable.” Ferran couldn’t believe that old Timotheus used to think that way. Really annoying. He clenched his fist and stopped himself to punch Alfarez.“Alfarez, you may forget that it is unreasonable to accuse someone without sufficient evidence. Watch your words.” A serious reminder from Sanchez that weighed down the aura between them.

Ferran was eating his breakfast when his phone rang inside the bedroom. When he picked it up, Sanchez was calling.“What’s up?”“Are you going to work or not?”“Maybe? I don’t know. He was so scared because of his father’s condition but stabilized himself for his sister’s sake.
