Chapter 13: Truth

Dravens P.O.V

The closer we came to our camp the more excruciating the pain had become. Every now and then I let out a groan and my brother would give me a worried look, his wolves yellow eyes filled full of concern. I leaned down getting a better grip on my brother's fur and trying to hold tight to the unconscious angel in my arms.

As soon as we arrived at camp I was greeted by members of my pack pulling Anna quickly from my arms and then helping me off the back of my brother's large wolf. As soon as my feet touched the ground I collapsed and let out a loud cry, the pain was now torture and I couldn't contain the screams of agony that tore through my body, I was on fire, my ears rang and now the only thing that my mind could focus on was the crippling pain.
