Chapter - 126

From a deep sleep, Sara Owen awoke as though from a nightmare. Her breathing got labored as if she heard him calling her.

She took a peek around. She could easily hear her pounding heartbeat in the quiet bedroom. She took a deep breath and put her palm on her constricted chest.

He was in Vento city, very far from her. She would no longer hear him.

She focused on the enormous wall clock. It was seven o'clock. She had slept longer.

"Something nourishing needs to be prepared for her because she is not feeling well."

"I cooked oatmeal with spinach."

"Will she, however, eat porridge?"

Sara Owen emerged from the bedroom after hearing a woman and a man conversing. Seeing the beautiful woman, the man and the woman looked at her in shock. But her gaze remained clear as if she knew them already.

They both bowed to her, “Good evening, Madam.”

“I am cook. Fei.”

“I am Susan, the maid.” Susan smiled brightly and came to Sara Owen.

“You are very beautiful, Madam.”

Sara Owen smiled hesitantly a
