Chapter - 18

In the morning, the awkward silence had fallen in the villa and they did not throw even a word at each other.

When she reached the university, she was not in her senses which was noticed by Gracie and she could not help but ask her at lunchtime.

“What’s wrong with you? Did anything happen at October villa?”

Sara Owen looked at her for a moment to answer but she lowered her eyes after losing courage. It was shameful. She was a maid. How could she marry him? Won’t her friend see her wrongly?

“Look, Sara, I can see your discomfort. Just wrap the irritation and tell me the things.”

“I am afraid you will see me wrongly.”

“Stupid. I will even take your side if you will be wrong. Just tell me.”

Sara Owen drink a glass of water and lowered her eyes.

“On Friday, Dixons had arrived at October villa abruptly and misunderstood that… We are married.”

“What the hell! Did Mr Dixon ask you to leave?”

Sara Owen shook her head.

“They invited us to Dixon villa and discussed holding a wedding.”
