CHAPTER 3

Janet walked into the room and stared at Lara. "Lara, are you done brushing your teeth? Come, let me give you a makeover."

Lara responded, "No!"

Janet asked, "Why? You cannot step out like this."

Lara replied, "I don't need any stupid makeover. I'm okay like this."

Janet frowned and said, "Okay, but come, let me help you comb your hair. You can wear one of my wigs."

Lara asked, "Can't we just go like this?"

Janet replied, "No!"

Lara frowned. "Okay."

Lara finally walked back to the chair that Janet had pulled out in front of the mirror. She sat down and watched as Janet combed her long, blonde hair and pulled it into a ponytail.

Janet said, "Your hair is so long and silky. I doubt you need to wear a wig, but you know Madam. You have to look hot and cute."

Lara kept quiet and watched as Janet oiled both palms and rubbed it into her hair. Janet spoke. "I don't think you need to wear the wig. Since you washed your hair after bathing, it's soft and smooth to the touch, and I like it."

Lara stayed silent and watched as Janet picked up her perfume, sprayed it on herself first, and then said, "Face me."

Lara stood up and turned to face Janet. Janet applied pink, wet lip gloss to her chapped lips.

Janet said, "Your lips look thin. Let's go out and eat so you can have some energy to work."

Lara asked, "What work?"

Janet smiled as Lara stared at her with questioning eyes.

Janet replied, "Don't worry. When we get there, you'll see the work for yourself."

Lara kept quiet and walked out of the room door with Janet. Janet gasped. "Oops! I forgot your shoes. Come, let me bring a pair for you to wear."

Lara frowned and walked back into the room with Janet. Obviously, she didn't have any good shoes; she had come from the village in her old, torn slippers.

Janet walked quickly to her wardrobe, pulled it open, and brought out a pair of black, sparkling high-heeled shoes. She gave them to Lara.

Janet said, "Here. Can you walk in these?"

Lara replied, "I don't know. I'll try."

Janet said, "You should. Here, test them."

Janet handed the shoes to Lara, who took them and sat on the pink bed to put them on.

Lara had always admired high-heeled shoes, but her mother hadn't had enough money to buy her a pair.

Janet said, "Wow, they suit you."

Lara and Janet both heard Madam Alora's voice in the corridor. The room door pushed open, and Madam Alora walked in, still in her black short dress.

Madam Alora said, "Aren't you ladies done yet? Mike has already sent his driver here to get you. And you both still need to eat first before leaving. You know you'll be sleeping over at his place till tomorrow."

Lara frowned upon hearing what Madam Alora said. Madam Alora was busy pressing her phone as she stepped inside.

Just then, Madam Alora shifted her gaze and stared at Lara and Janet. She gasped. "Wow! Now you look beautiful. Why didn't you apply her makeup?"

Janet responded, "She refused, ma."

Madam Alora said, "It's all right. You ladies should go and eat first. Let me answer my call."

Lara sighed as she walked out of the room with Janet. It was actually her first time wearing high-heeled shoes, and Lara struggled to walk in the black ones.

As she walked out into the corridor, Lara heard the sound of two bodies colliding, along with grunting and moaning from the people involved.

"Ah, yeah, harder... Yeah."

Lara gulped, not knowing who was being intimate, but she was no fool—she knew exactly what the sounds were about.

Passing another room door, Lara felt dread run down her spine as she heard the lady's voice scream out, "Take it easy, Mr.! Yeah! Ah! Easy!"

Lara gulped again. Janet had gone farther ahead into the living room, so she hurried her steps and quickly walked away from the passage corridor that Janet had taken. She stepped into the dining area of the executive mansion and sighed.

Lara sat on the dining seat that had been pulled out for her. She felt restless, knowing what was happening in those two rooms she had passed. Even though she hadn't seen them, their bodily sounds and moans were enough for her to know what was going on.

Lara breathed out in relief, hoping she wouldn't face the same fate as the two ladies in the rooms. She had vowed never to sleep with any man except her husband—no matter the amount she might be paid. She didn't want to be offered as goods but as a wife.

The cook walked up to them in her neat green uniform and white, sparkling apron tied at the front. She spoke as she served the tray in front of Lara. "Here are your meals."

Janet and Lara both drew their seats closer to the dining table and began eating.

Once finished with their dinners, Lara saw the time was 8:42 p.m. She stared at the hefty man who walked into the living room; the dining room was joined to it.

The hefty man greeted, "Good evening, Madam."

Madam Alora responded, "Yes, welcome, sir. They're through and all set to go now. Janet."

Janet responded, "Yes, ma'am."

Madam Alora said, "Remember your training lessons."

Janet replied, "Okay, Madam. Come, Lara, let's go."

Lara was silent as she followed Janet outside the mansion. She silently wondered what training lessons Madam Alora had spoken to Janet about.

They both walked out to the frontage, and Lara saw a sleek black car parked in the garage. Walking in her high-heeled shoes wasn't easy at all; she struggled, moving like someone carrying a heavy load on her head, as she headed toward the back seat of the black, shining car.

Lara asked, "Where are we going?"

Janet shut the door and replied, "To Billionaire Prince Mike's new house."

Lara asked, "He's a prince?"

Janet responded, "Not really, but his family's wealth makes him one. You need to behave yourself when we get there and do whatever he asks you to do."

Lara asked, "What kind of behavior? I heard Madam speaking to you about training lessons. What's that all about? I'm new here, and I just arrived today—I'm already going out with you?"

Janet sighed and stared out through the car window. The hefty man continued driving out and onto the main roads, heading to Billionaire Mike Ernest's new house.

Lara asked, "Janet, I'm talking to you?"

The hefty man glanced at them through the rearview mirror and continued focusing on driving toward his master's new estate.

Janet replied, "I know, Lara. Lower your voice. You see, since you're new here, it's best that you don't learn anything for now. That way, Prince Mike can reject you. I've always fantasized about the day Mike will take me to bed. Gosh... I can't stop fantasizing about him. He's so hot—masculine, sexy for a man, handsome, with a well-sculpted body. You need to see him, Lara. Well, you will, but he hosts a lot of ladies, and yet I don't want to think of him as a cheat."

Lara frowned. "Is he married?"

Janet replied, "No! He's a young guy. I think 26 or probably 27 years old. But he's the first son, though. I heard he has a younger sister and a younger brother too."

Lara sighed. "Hmph."

Janet said, "Don't worry. He's not in any current relationship, and his family isn't even pressuring him about one. He's just like his father—a casanova."

Janet made sure to lower her voice so only Lara could hear. Lara sighed heavily and replied, "Hmph. I'm still not interested in sleeping with a man for money."

Janet said, "I know, and that's why I don't want to teach you anything you'll need to do. Normally, Mike only asks us to massage his back and suck his rod, but you know, he never once took any of us to bed."

Lara asked, "His rod? What's that?"

Janet laughed and stared out through the car window.

Janet said, "Never mind, Lara. See, we've arrived at his mansion."

Lara watched as the entrance gate pulled open. Two security men walked out to the car to meet them.

The first security man said, "Hey, pretties, come down first."

Janet said, "Lara, let's get down now. They will need to search us first."

Lara mumbled, "Okay."

Lara and Janet both stepped down from the car. The security man searched them one by one while his partner searched the car.

The first security man asked, "Did you both come here with any handbag?"

Janet replied, "No, sir. We came with nothing except my phone."

The first security man said, "Hmph. Hands up first. Let me search you."

Lara frowned as she watched the first security man search Janet. He slid his right hand into Janet's cleavage and touched her full brẹasts right in her view. Then he removed his hand and touched Janet's buttọcks and front as well. The security man walked up to Lara to search her too.

Lara yelled, "Don't you dare touch me!"

The first security man's eyes widened at Lara. He asked Janet, "Is she new here or what?"

Janet replied, "Yes, sir. But she came with nothing too."

The second security man said, "James still needs to search her. She cannot be trusted not to go in there with a knife or something dangerous to harm our boss, so she must be searched."
