“You’ve been a very bad girl, Ley…” He whispered, his eyes dark with hunger, closing the distance between them until her back hit the cool glass wall. Her breath caught, but she didn’t flinch. “You’re arrogant…” “You’re wet.” He wrapped his hand around her waist and leans in… She should walk away, he was her father’s best friend, arrogant, wickedly charming, and knows exactly how to ruin her resolve, but his fingers traced her wrist, slow, possessive, and she knew she would let him ruin her again. He was supposed to be off-limits… but forbidden taste the sweetest.

I tapped my finger’s restlessly on the desk, my eyes on my wristwatch counting the seconds before the last bell for school dismissal goes off.
‘One, two… three…’ I mumbled.
My eyes shot up, smiles spread through my lips when I heard the bell go off. I quickly shut my book, grabbed my bags, throwing the textbook into it, I got up to leave.
“Oh, Riley, I see you can’t wait for me to leave before wanting to run off.” Mrs. Lizzy, our biochem teacher whose class had just ended said with a frown on her face. I grinned, she grunted and left the class.
Well, I never liked her class anyways.
“Hey, Riley, you look more excited going on that concert than I do.” My best friend, Eve grabbed her bag and walked over to me.
“You can say that again,” I glanced down at my wrist watch. “We have limited time, I didn’t even get my dress ready for it, and the front row could be taken if we don’t hurry!” I said, hurrying out of the class, running down the hallway.
“Oh, slow down, Riley, it’s not the last time you will be seeing him!” She called out but I didn’t listen to her.
“He is my celebrity crush, Eve, and I need to be seen, I need him to see me, not like the other times I had been covered by the crowd, I wish I was taller!” I called out, making my way out of the school exit.
“You aren’t that late!” She called out, I could hear Eve pant behind me, but I quickly hailed over a taxi and turned to her.
“I need to make a quick stop at home and get change out of this outfit, I will meet you and Edwin in front of the concert hall, don’t be late!” I told her, without waiting for a response, I got into the taxi, and told the driver my home address.
I leaned back on the backseat holding out the concert ticket, I glanced at it with smiles across my lips
“Gosh, I have really waited for a long time for this show, nothing can wrong now.” I muttered, glancing out through the window, grinning from ear to ear.
The taxi pulled over in front of a two story building, I stepped out of the car, drawing a sharp breath, I made a run for the front door, pushing it open, I threw my bag on the living room sofa making it straight for my room.
I opened my closet, scanning the clothes in my hanger. “Shit, what do I wear?” I shuffled through clothes after clothes.
“No, not this one… no, too colorful, not this either, too bright, too dark, ah…” My fingers paused on one of my dress that caught my eyes.
I have to make an impression, I know a lot of people would be right there, standing and waving at him, flashing a bright smile his way, but I needed something that he could easily notice me in.
As long as I get his autograph I will be fine.
Karl Jade wasn’t really my celebrity crush, I got to like him because of someone, someone I treasured more than anyone in my life, because that certain person was fond of Karl Jade, I became fond of him also.
Now, getting his autograph was because I wish to give it for the person I love most, well, that’s if we ever meet again in this lifetime.
“Perfect…” I placed the yellow and blue dress that had caught my eyes on my body, staring at my image on the fitting mirror, a smile spread through my lips, the dress complimented my pale blue eyes, and it was just the perfect outfit.
I quickly tossed the clothes I had worn home on my bed, pulling the dress I had taken out over my heard. I smiled. Smoothening it with my hand,
“This is beautiful.” I grinned.
Stepping closer to the mirror, I applied a red lipstick on my plump lips, if my mother catches me wearing makeup she was going to kill me, she said I was too young to be wearing one.
Why shouldn’t a high school eighteen year old wear makeup yet?
Well, I knew I had to quickly leave before she spots me at home. I let my brown hair fall perfectly on my shoulder, it wasn’t too long, but it was trimmed to suit my symmetry face.
A satisfactory smile spread through my lips. I picked up my bag, hanging it over my shoulder, and made my way out of the room.
I still had time so I decided to walk slowly this time, wouldn’t look so good if I am covered with sweat when I get to the concert hall.
I had only taken a step down the stairs when I heard chattering voices coming from my father’s study room.
‘Is daddy at home?’
My father wasn’t usually at home at this hour, and it’s a surprise to hear the sound of his voice at mid day.
He was one of my favorite person, I was more closer to my father than I was to my mother, perhaps because my mother was stricter towards me than my father.
Since he was home I decided to go greet him, don’t know when I will return from the concert or if I get to see him when I get home, he was a busy man.
As I approached the study room door, I slowly reached for the door but halt when I heard another voice.
‘He has a visitor, I better not interrupt.’
I decided to leave, but I froze when I caught a glimpse of the man he was with through the small opening at the door because it wasn’t shut.
‘It can’t be…’ I muttered to myself, my heart raced inside of my chest as I took another step closer to be sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me.
‘It can’t be him…’ I could feel my chest rise and fall as I took yet another step, and tears clustered in my eyes as I stood stunned at the sight of him.
‘Carl Walsh’ I gasped, clasping my hand to my lips in shock.
CarlI got up early to prepare breakfast, I couldn’t sleep well with everything that happened the previous day, or perhaps I was just excited to see Riley today.I freshened up and went downstairs to prepare breakfast, I made eggs and toast while listening for when Riley will come down.Probably anticipating what she would wear today.I shook the thought of my head, I needed to remind myself every second that Riley was still seventeen and my best friend’s daughter who was left under my care.I set the table, and before I could turn to call her, I heard I come down.I blinked at the sight of Riley. She was dressed in a pale sweater and dark jeans, exposing nothing, which was the first. Her damp curls tucked behind her ears, and she quietly sat on the dining chair.“Morning,” She said softly, there was no funny smirk, no sarcasm, or even flirtation, just the usual but unusual Riley.“You’re joining me for breakfast today?” I pulled the chair across hers and sat down, well, the previous
Carl“Riley, this isn’t something you should say suddenly, language please.” I told her but she chuckled silently.“Oh, you are an adult and I would be an adult in a week.” She responded. “Whereas, you had seen and heard me last night, it’s no secret what I feel, and you don’t hide yours either.”I closed my eyes momentarily. “Riley, I know it was wrong for you to see me and Nora that day, we should have done that in privacy, but we---““You know that’s not what I am talking about.” She interrupted me and I stepped on the brake, the tires screeched and came to a halt.“Riley.” I turned to her with furrowed brows. “I don’t know what you think you are doing, but whatever it is, you should stop now.”She held my gaze briefly and looked away from me. “We are home now.” She muttered, unfastening her seat belt. “It&rs
CarlI should have known better, I shouldn’t have looked but my body had moved before my mind could stop it, and now I couldn’t sleep. The image of Riley laying flat on her back, legs parted, one hand between her thighs, the other clenching my shirt as she moaned my name kept on replaying in my mind.It was my shirt, that silly girl, and seeing me made her arch her hips even more as she moaned my name softer, slower again.I gasped, I could hear my heart thumping, I felt hot all over. What the hell am I doing?I turned on the air conditioner to cool the room, but my head was spinning with lots of emotions, I swear I saw her biting down her lower lips, I saw the burning desires in her eyes.If she hadn’t been my best friend’s daughter, God knows I would have barged in, torn the clothes left on her off and make her moan my name louder.I clenched my jaw, she was going too far.I slapped my forehead painful hard, furious with myself.“I can’t let this continue, she needs to stop, or I wo
CarlI told myself I wasn’t watching her, but I was.Every goddamn move she made since she stepped into my apartment, she wasn’t making it easy for me either, I had seen the tears in her eyes when she saw me kissing Nora, I thought perhaps she was shocked for seeing such scene, but it didn’t look like it after she made the statement while grabbing a drink from the fridge.I have been weakened by all her deliberate act. I told myself over and over again that she is just a pretty girl trying to stir shit, perhaps she is playing childish drama to push boundaries, play grown-up just to get back at me for what she had seen. But Riley wasn’t a child anymore, and every time she walked by me in those little skirts, or whispered something that made my fist clench, I didn’t see my best friend daughter anymore, I saw a fantasy I didn’t know I had until she started offering herself like sin.And the worst part is she knew what she was doing.Last night had been very difficult, she had grabbed my
Riley“Please, stay with me, don’t go.” I begged him and he turned to me, his gaze held mine and for a moment I believed he would stay, but Carl slowly held my hand and pulled it away from his.“Go to bed Riley, I will be right back.” He didn’t spare me another glance before leaving the house.I stood there frozen, staring at the shut door. Was I wrong to have feelings for my father’s best friend? Was it wrong that I couldn’t control my emotions?I can’t keep this feelings locked inside of my heart anymore, not after I had kept it hidden for years. If it were possible, then I would also want to get rid of it, but it wasn’t easy, it wasn’t easy to get rid of the feeling. We don’t chose who we get to love, we can’t control it, and staying this close to Carl, it was making me go crazy.I blinked out of the daze and rushed out of the house to the porch, but his car was gone, he had driven off, it was this late and he had gone to her.I squatted, burying my face into my arms as I sobbed.W
RileyI returned home late, but when I walked in, Carl wasn’t home, he had told me the code of his apartment, but he was not home.I let out a sharp sigh, but just before I headed upstairs, he walked in, holding someone grocery back, I glanced over his shoulder and I was relieved when there was no Nora today.“You are just coming home?” He asked me, his gaze flickered down to my skirt high on my thighs, just once but I caught it.“Yes.” I responded as he walked towards the kitchen, putting the grocery bag down on the cabinet, I placed my bag on the sofa and went to the kitchen to help him rather than leave for my room.He was pouring himself a whiskey as he took a sip. “Rough day?” I asked innocently, opening the fridge and bending low, slowly that my ass curved perfectly under the tight fabric as I put some of the things he got into the fridge. He didn’t answer, so I turned to face him. &ldquo
