Just as Mike walked out to the frontage veranda to leave, his father arrived and smiled at him. His father spread his arms widely open to welcome him.

Mr. Richard said, "Welcome home, son."

Mike responded, "Good evening, father," frowning slightly.

Mr. Richard asked, "Are you already leaving now? Come, let's go inside and discuss why I wanted to see you. I had to rush down here before you left."
