Chapter sixty-two

Dai's POV

I am counting the minutes this jet has to land in New York and every hour that draws me closer to Lia, my older brother's wife couldn't get much out of Lia about the new company she's working at. Lia mostly engages in platonic conversations with her and Hana has told Abe to let me leave Lia make her own decisions. I understand her loyalty to her friend even though it hurts.

Abe and I travel to the US together since he plans to see his girlfriend and spend quality time with her. I plan to trail Hana after her date with Abe tomorrow but things don't go as planned , Hana comes over with a small packed bag to see Abe at the hotel we are staying at. Abe informs me she is staying with him till he travels back. My hopes of seeing Lia shattered.

Hana refuses to discuss about Lia with either of us and my best friend being a love sick puppy begged me to let go of trying to convince his woman. I dabble on possible areas to begin my search for Lia which seems time consuming.
