"I already did the ones from yesterday," Dad scowled. "What about putting away the Christmas tinsel then, huh? I could've sworn you were meant to put them away too. Or were you out galavanting in other people's houses? Too busy to worry about your own house and family, is it?"  

"Enough," Mom bit out, effectively stopping the conversation.
