CHAPTER 16

GOOD MORNING

"Oh, you're already home? Carline's mother told me about the training. How was it?" My mother walk towards me and pick the slippers that I dropped.

"You looked like you saw a ghost, I'm just asking who is the stalker. Is there anything suspicious around these past days?"

She cupped my face and inspect it thoroughly.

"Mom, is there any vampire living here in Casablanca?" I can't stop to be a little nosy.

She look at me with a dagger-looked eyes, "Why would there be a vampire here?" she laughed and stood up then walk towards the kitchen.

"Mom! this is urgent. Are there any vampires living in here but the Alpha is concealing it?" I asked her again.

She inhaled sharply and run her right hand through her lips.

"Can you hear yourself, Wynzlette?" Mom hug me, "You are accusing an Alpha... When did I teach that?" she whispered.

"Mom!" I stomped my feet.

"Let's end this conversation, I will pretend that I heard anything about it," and she pours the hot water in the tea cup.
