The fight brought peace to the territory of the werewolves, after much discord among the multiple species in this realm, one of them had declared itself the strongest and was being led by Lyra and Alexander.
Alexander walked among the corpses of the vampires, walking slowly as he had been injured during the battle, but he had no regrets and if he had to do it again, he would do it without hesitation. He approached Lyra, who was watching as the sun began to rise over the mountains, and said the following:
"This only means one thing, Lyra," Alexander's tone was soft.
"What do you think it means, my loyal friend?" Lyra replied harshly, her scars giving her a more aggressive demeanor.
"The vampire tribe will want revenge, their pride will make them do things we can't even imagine... we need to be prepared," Alexander exclaimed with concern.
"You're right, but by defeating them, we showed that we are capable of working as a team, so any threat that comes our way will have to do so with enough courage to withstand our tenacity," said Lyra with confidence.
Understanding Lyra's security, Alexander just shook his head and smiled, there was nothing that could break Lyra's warrior instinct. After their conversation, he put his arm around Lyra and they began to walk in search of the other members of the tribe.
They were tired and sore, a good rest in the village would do them well, but before they could start their journey, in the midst of the vampire corpses, a groan caught their attention, causing them to turn and see what was happening.
When they did, they noticed that among the vampire corpses, a body was weakly sitting up and looking coldly into Lyra's eyes - it was the vampire king, still bleeding... but that didn't stop him from showing his discontent and hatred.
"Don't think you've won anything with this, Lyra," his voice was intimidating and deep. "All you've done is put yourself in the eye of the storm. The whole world will know... that now you're the one in charge of this realm... and that's a complete insult," said the vampire king, coughing blood as he spoke.
The two watched as the king struggled to talk to them, but his fate was already more than foreseen, there was nothing to be done to save him, nor any intention of doing so.
"The world will know that I will be the one to end the tyranny of those who have tried to rule unjustly, so I don't care who opposes me, I will end anyone who tries to do evil," said Lyra, who was in ecstasy over what she had just done.
"Hahaha... they'll come for you, one by one... and until your head is on a stake, they won't stop. I almost feel sorry for you..." said the vampire king, who, when he started laughing, began to have heart problems.
The vampire king couldn't keep laughing... he was just prolonging his agony, which was more than evident, and he began to complain of a pain in his heart... gradually it became more acute until he succumbed and finally fell.
Lyra and Alexander witnessed the scene a little horrified, it was not pleasant to see that old man die in that way, but it would serve as proof that, when entering this hostile world of war, death would be a permanent companion on each of their journeys.
And so, both set off on their journey to the village, along with a few surviving werewolves. They were very tired, so they needed to treat some of their wounds to survive, otherwise, they would follow the same path as the vampire king.
Especially Alexander, who was badly injured, so when they arrived at the
Especially Alexander, who was badly injured, so when they arrived at the village, the first thing they did was take him to the infirmary and treat his wounds. Their arrival was chaotic, as the elder of the tribe was waiting for them at the door and when they arrived, he looked directly at Lyra, perhaps blaming her for everything that was happening.
Meanwhile, at the battlefield, footsteps begin to leave their mark among the corpses. A woman in a cloak is searching for the body of the vampire king, accompanied by other men who seem indignant and angry.
When the woman finds the body, she looks at it intently and grits her teeth. Anger begins to invade her entire body, she thirsts for revenge, so before embarking on her journey in search of the culprit, this woman removes the necklace that the vampire king wore and puts it on herself.
When she does so, the other vampires kneel in respect, as she is now the new vampire queen.
Alexander was already in the infirmary, and the girls, who were werewolves, gave the news that he was out of danger, which made Lyra quite happy, as she was also being tended to by the nurses.
After a few hours of rest and recuperation, Lyra felt she needed to move and help the tribe with their tasks, but above all, to continue training to increase her strength and achieve what she so desires: the banishment of her sister.
She entered her private cabin, which was kindly offered to her by the tribe members, and began searching for her training clothes. It was curious how she decorated that place, as unlike the other cabins, it had a more unique and personal touch.
It had some more feminine touches, and there was even a mirror so she could see herself and fix herself up before heading out to the field. The feminine touches abounded in that place and it gave Lyra a sense of calm, making her feel at home.
She bathed and dressed, re-bandaged her wounds, and with determination, she grabbed her sword ready to go out and train. She headed towards the door of her cabin, and when she opened it, the imposing leader of the pack, Kahian, was standing there with his imposing presence.
Lyra was surprised to see him, she had him face to face, she could feel his breath, which made her a little nervous. He looked at her coldly, and then said to her in a soft voice, "Lyra, I hope you rested well, I would like us to talk for a moment in the great hall."
"Oh sure, Kahian, I'll be there in a moment," said Lyra amiably.
Then Kahian went to the great hall where he would be waiting for her, but before she went there, she decided to visit her good friend Alexander, wanting to know if he was feeling better and bringing him a small gift.
A basket of fruits would be the right gift for a sick person, or at least she thought so. When she arrived at the infirmary, Alexander was already awake and looked a little better, although still bandaged from the battle wounds.
Lyra's visit didn't take long, she just went to bring him the basket and ask how he was. After a brief chat with him, she went on her way to the great hall where the leader was waiting for her.
She arrived with a little nervousness, not knowing why he had invited her there. It's not that she had done anything wrong, but it was clear that the commotion that was being generated was something that she had indirectly caused.
Lyra entered the great hall, which was in the middle of the village. The place had a cold and somber atmosphere, there were only
Lyra looked exhausted, but more than that, she was angry because the beings who had forcefully taken her to where their king resided wouldn't let her go. In her desperation, she began struggling persistently to free herself and create an opportunity to escape."It's better if you don't let me live, because once I feel free, you will pay dearly for your actions," Lyra said. The fish-like creatures were focused on keeping the furious Lyra under control, but when they arrived where the king was, they threw her in front of him, allowing his decision to determine Lyra's fate.Indeed, the king was responsible for protecting and aiding his people against any threats they encountered. He sat on a high throne surrounded by what appeared to be his royal guards. There were also other beings by his side, implying they held important positions in the kingdom. The king, who had the same light blue scaly skin as the creatures in this place, looked slightly larger and more serious than the other fish
The rebels noticed this event and definitely did not expect Lyra to do something similar. She is always impulsive but never fails, but this time she was heading straight towards her end! That made Marcus run towards her with some hope of being able to save her. "No, Lyra, you trusted yourself too much!" Marcus said as he ran. The werewolves who had stolen the crown watched with a sinister smile as the situation unfolded. Lyra seemed to be once again in a very low situation that completely humiliated her, causing her to lose respect for herself! The thieves attacked Marcus and aggressively fought against the other guards, leading to a chaotic battle while Lyra fell. But she wouldn't give up so easily; she knew very well that those warriors needed her help, so she tried to save her life by clinging to the wall. As she used her sword as a makeshift anchor, the wall began to crumble. She tried, fueled by her relentless desire to live, to jump as high as she could, but just as she did, the
Lyra was bewildered, but deep down she knew that soon she would encounter a group that wanted to seize her crown and remove it from her, so she is not afraid to defend it now because it's part of her job."Just like the other warriors! It's even offensive to consider that harm can be done to these tenacious warriors. Only an ignorant and desperate being would want to attack these warriors, so the rebels were confident."I can't believe they wanted to come here and try to bother us. It's better for them to return to where they came from. Although considering their smell, I think I know who they are," Lyra said as she looked at these hooded beings. The assailants had hoods, so their faces couldn't be seen, but their laughter was something that could be heard. They were staring at each other and seemed calm in the situation, until one of them stepped forward and removed his hood."Lyra, infamous warrior, you are nothing but our downfall disguised as good intentions. I am even surprised t
All the warriors of the village felt prepared to receive support from other kingdoms. It was something they should celebrate because it didn't happen often. It meant that their purpose was truly working, and if everything continued in that way, peace could reign in the world as soon as possible. That's why the gift they wanted to give to the Lizard Kingdom was also valuable to them. A golden crown with some precious stone embellishments. This was intended to demonstrate great respect for the Lizard Kingdom."It's so extravagant, I love it. I'm sure the Lizard King will enjoy having it on his head," Marcus said as he looked at the crown stored in a chest about to be carried by the warriors."It's not meant for him to wear, Marcus. Initially, it's just an artifact that will serve perfectly as decoration," Lyra said, also admiring the crown. She really liked how it turned out."I hope you can carry this through the forest with wisdom. Remember, we are currently the only ones who want thi
"This assembly was escalating due to the werewolves who were against Lyra's dictates, refusing to engage in dialogue to reach an agreement that would meet everyone's demands. The rebel Kole was fully prepared to prove that he had the most accurate opinion about what would benefit the rebellion. However, he couldn't wait for everyone present to agree, which caused conflict among the high leaders."I know it has been a long process to get where we are, and I don't intend to destroy this. But we are losing the integrity of the wolves. Many of the beings that were once our food and respected us now walk ahead of us and even ask for favors. What is happening?" said Kole, accompanied by other rebels who agreed with him."It has to be this way. Understand that when the werewolves decided to create the village, they made a pledge of trust, showing that they would no longer be savages. We are now beings seeking harmony among the forest creatures," said the wise Kahiah."I know! But we are losi
Since she was the girl who would initially bring peace to the forest kingdom, allowing her to rule over the hearts of all living beings who seek a life without disturbances or fear of being consumed by a larger creature. As this was somehow an alteration of the natural cycle of things, it caught the attention of the forest nymphs. So when Lyra walked through the forest, alone but very attentive to her surroundings, a nymph opened a portal in front of her and emerged with all her divinity, causing Lyra to become frightened and wield her weapon. But when she realized it was a nymph, she calmed down, expecting that this celestial being was there because of Ruby, as they were all sisters and most likely wanted explanations or even justice."Lyra, warrior who has no fear in her heart, I apologize for coming in this manner. I am Amethyst, a nymph who protects the forest and its harmony. I intend for peace to always be respected," said the nymph as she looked at Lyra."I know what kind of be
