Karen.

I woke up on an empty bed. I wondered if Oscar had gone out without me. I wore his t-shirt and brushed my teeth, then went downstairs to look for him. I heard his voice in the living room, so I headed there.

Oscar had a guest; the man was dark, muscular and very handsome. He looked rugged and hard. His beards were kept, and he had brown eyes. The man was handsome. He whistled when he saw me.

"Damn, Oscar, you've done well for yourself," he said, looking at me. "I see why you can't let go, man; I would do the same," he said. I had no clue what he was talking about, but I knew he was referring to me.

Oscar asked me to come to sit on his lap, and I did.

"Did you miss me?" he asked, and I laughed. The black man cleared his throat, and Oscar lifted his head.
