Chapter Fifty Four

A week later

Jesse was returning from seeing his friends and was listening to music from his car stereo when a car suddenly overtook his causing him to apply the brakes fast to avoid hitting the car in front of him but he had no such luck as his car slammed into the rear bumper of the other one.

He sat stock-still in the car staring at nothing in particular and even as the owner of the other car started banging on the window trying to get his attention, he didn't move. He found that he couldn't move a single muscle as a feeling of deja vu washed over him making him feel as if he'd experienced what just happened before but he wasn't very sure.

He finally came out of his trance long enough to notice the person standing in front of his car and he opened the door and got out.

"Look at what you did!". The man barked pointing to his dented car.

"Me? You overtook my car without turning on your indicator light." Jesse protested.

"Well you're going to repair my car." The man said. "This is a
