Make up for the future

“See who eventually decided to step out of that prison!” Lilith mumbled underneath with sarcasm as she had a bite of the red apple in her hand.

Her eyes were stinging, making it hard for her to see as she was ambling her way toward the kitchen. Lilith tagged behind her until she reached out to the refrigerator, and brought out a bottle of water and a cup, she filled the cup and then raised it to her mouth and guzzled all in a draught. “Where did all those gifts come from?” She eventually decided to inquire about all the wrapped presents she saw in the living room that was packed aside on a spot.

Her eyes furrowed with puzzlement as she was piqued with curiosity. If everyone didn't realize how special the day was, she had to remember what the big day was all about. A frown shrouded over Lilith's mouth, still retaining the look of puzzlement on her face. “Have you forgotten today's your birthday?”
