A quarterly assembly was held that day. The council was already seated when the doors opened again. Conversations stopped as Charlotte walked in with Andrew at her side.

“Sorry, gentlemen, for being a little late. My secretary missed the time for this meeting,” she said.

“Princess Charlotte, your presence here is quite a surprise,” Liam replied.

Charlotte smiled. “As a princess, I figured it was time I immersed myself in pack business. After all, I am about to get married.”
