I straightened, forcing my shoulders back. Drew in a slow breath "I do," I finally uttered in a clear but flat voice. The priest let out a smile.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife."

He turned to Felix. "You may kiss the bride."

Felix took a slow and steady step forward, ready to claim what he thought was his. I caught sight of Anna and Laura, who were practically begging me not to let him touch me.

"Mr. Felix," I said softly, a shy smile spreading across my lips, "can we not do this in public? I am a little shy." He paused, examining my face as if he didn't trust me.

"I'm completely yours," I added, keeping my tone light. "We can do this later, at home."

That was all it took. He grinned, proud of himself. I scoffed quietly. Old pervert... Just you wait. I’ll rip you off of everything you think you own.

After a few minutes, the wedding came to an end, and a young man approached us.

Immediately my breath seized . Damn it, he's the young man from the club last night. Why is he here? He has the same smile and the same intoxicating scent... He looks different and more handsome dressed in a black fitted suit… But why on earth is he here?

He tugged his hands into his pockets.

"Congratulations, Dad," he said flatly.

My eyes widened in shock; my knees almost buckled beneath me. He's Felix's son? That means he's going to be my stepson? This is totally insane… What's happening here?

Then he slowly turns to me, and I hold my wedding gown tight, fighting my entire body to stay calm. A devilish smirk spreads all over his face... This was different. This isn't the charming smile he always lent out; it felt as if he could tell what his presence was doing to me.

"Congratulations, stepmother," he said softly.

My heart ceased.

What the heck, stepmother? He is most likely in his thirties. Calling me "step...mother" makes me feel old, but that's not the main issue; the real issue is that I'm currently drawn to him. Goddamn.

"Sebastian, why are you here?" Mr. Felix said coldly. He doesn't seem pleased to see him based on his tone and facial expression.

He scoffed and nodded slightly. "I came to congratulate you, Dad... Is there any problem with that?" He answered calmly.

Silence stretches between them as their gazes lock as if in a silent battle. I look at them confusedly. What am I supposed to do in this damn situation?

I should just head straight over to my friends. I turned slowly.

"Stepmother, where are you going to?"

I froze immediately and closed my eyes in frustration. I don't think I'm okay with that name—not from a child, much less from a man who could be five years older than me or more. I forced an awkward smile before slowly turning to face him.

He turned to Felix immediately. "Dad, I've been thinking about what you said last time. And I think it's best to come home," he said softly, nodding his head as he stared at me. Wait, what? It's best to come home? I swallowed hard. No...no, I disagree because it won't be nice if he fucking comes home...that would ruin my plans because I don't trust myself around him.

"Are you sure about that, and will you always listen to me?" Mr. Felix asked in disbelief, his eyes gradually becoming emotional. What the heck are these two like?

"Yes, Dad, I would do everything you said, including…" He smiled as he turned to face me. "Respecting my little stepmother," he added, winking at me. My breath caught... Why...why is this happening to me?… This is not nice.

"Fine, the maid has always been cleaning your room," Mr. Felix said, satisfied, tapping Sebastian on the shoulder.

Then he slowly turns towards me. "This is my son, Sebastian. I hope you are fine with him living with us," he asked gently. When did I get to make a decision?

Their eyes fixed on me, waiting for my answer. Goddamn it, I need to be honest right now because no, I can't let this man get any closer to me because he's a damn distraction from my mission.

"No, I don't want him to live with us."

"Why?" Mr. Felix asked immediately.

"He's a grown man and should be with his wife and kids by now… We have to spend the night together. Remember, we don't need distractions," I said quickly, my voice firm.

Silence stretched between us, and Mr. Felix held his jaw as if trying to make sense of what I had just said. Sebastian's eyes locked on mine, his expression unreadable, and I fought my body to stay calm as his evergreen eyes pierced into my eyes, sharp as if he could read every bit of me from my eyes. I quickly looked away as I felt heat building beneath me. I'm a total mess-up right now. And he chuckled and turned to his father.

"Then I will just leave... since my stepmother isn't okay with that," he said, instantly displaying a disappointed tone. Damn, he's playing the emotional blackmail card right now. Felix instantly snapped out of it and turned to face me.

"All the rooms in my mansion are soundproof, and Sebastian has a fiancé; he will settle down soon," Mr. Felix defended quickly.

My chest tightened. I felt like I was losing my mission before it even started. I stare at Sebastian, a wide smile spread across his face, and then he slowly turns to his father.

"Dad, I will see you tomorrow," he said softly, acting like a good son… Although I don't really know him, but I can tell by the way he behaves that he isn't being completely truthful with his father.

He turned to face me. "See you soon, little stepmother," he said, giving me a brief salute before departing.

I bit my lower lip hard, fighting my racing heart to fucking stay calm right now.

Felix laughed and nodded, impressed with his reaction. "He never changes; he's always as playful as before...Trust me, Sophie, you'd like him," he said casually, leaning in and kissing my forehead before walking towards the guests.

Like him? If only he knew that my heart is always in a fucked-up state when his son is around, then he wouldn't say that.

I should push him, but no—my body wasn’t willing to cooperate. Instead, I adjusted my position so his cock could fit into my hungry pussy through the fabric. We were both dressed, but the tension was unbearable. The water was cold, yet the forbidden contact beneath it was so damn hot and dangerously overwhelming. "This isn’t right," I whispered, my voice trembling as I stared into his eyes, my hands pulling him closer. He looked down at my chest, my wet nightgown clinging to me, and I was sure he could feel how hard my nipples pressed against him. He chuckled, shaking his head. "But your body doesn’t seem to concur," he teased. Heat rushed through me, and I buried my face in his neck in embarrassment, my hips still moving to match the tension. "Mr. Felix won’t find out," he murmured softly. I pulled away just enough to look into his eyes. They were dark, filled with hunger. I gasp, and my chest rises and falls faster. "I’ve had a crush on you since university, Sophie," he admit

“I should be asking that, not you,” I said immediately, my voice tight. Silence extended across the line. A woman’s voice picking up Felix’s call… Why? The thought nagged at me. Yes, I don't care about what he does, but I still needed that deal. I can’t let some other woman slide in and put me in that desperate, grasping mood, craving his attention. Finally, she sighed. “I’m his secretary. He’s still in meetings.” I didn’t say another word. I hung up, my hand tightened over the phone for a moment before gripping the wheel tighter. The drive home was quiet, my mind buzzing with irritation and the weight of everything else pressing down.** I rolled onto the bed, fighting sleep, but it wouldn’t come. My mind was in a complete mess of my own thoughts. The heir thing… how on earth was I supposed to handle that? How could I even get in touch with Luis again after all these years? And the deal—God, the deal had to be signed. And then there was Mia. She had called earlier. She’d land

I opened my mouth to say something, but my brain went completely blank. The only thing I could feel was my heart, pounding like crazy, like I’d been hypnotized. He took a step closer, and I stepped back without thinking—until my butt hit the edge of the kitchen counter. He didn’t stop. He just… closed the distance slowly. I closed my eyes without even meaning to, letting his scent wash over me. Fresh, clean, like he’d just come out of the bathroom, shampoo and something else… warm. I snapped my eyes open as soon as I realized I’d left a little space between us. “Little stepmother, Mr. Felix hates things wasted—including coffee,” he said, his voice soft, almost teasing. I blinked at the mess on the counter, panic hitting me. I grabbed a napkin and started wiping as fast as I could, a stupid little smile creeping onto my face. He just shook his head and walked away. I tapped my forehead. “Stupid Sophie,” I muttered. “Why do you always act like this? This isn’t who you are… you

The slight flash of light slipping through the curtain brushed my face, making me blink. I slowly opened my eyes, and my gaze caught on a figure beside me. My heart seized. I screamed, jumped off the bed, and crashed onto the floor. “What’s wrong with you, Miss Smith?” Mr. Felix snapped, confusion written all over his face. I rubbed my forehead and looked at him. Gosh… I forgot I got married yesterday. I took a deep breath, trying to steady my racing heart. “I’m sorry, darling. I had a nightmare,” I said softly, forcing a smile. My goodness, he looked terrible, his morning figure rough and unguarded. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, his jaw tightening as if he were trying to remember something. Damn it. If he started recalling everything that happened last night—how I struggled—he might realize nothing happened between us. And if he did, he wouldn’t sign the deal. I quickly hopped back onto the bed. “Honey, you were so strong yesterday,” I said shyly, tucking a

I slowly allowed myself to feel any changes in my body, but nothing strange happened—just my heart pounding loudly as I kept staring at the clock. He smiled and took the glass from me, placing both glasses on the glass table. He untied his robe, a smile spreading across his face, and walked slowly toward me. I climbed onto the bed and moved to the edge; he dragged both my legs toward him, forcing me to lie flat. He pulled off the robe and tossed it on the floor. I tried to stand upright, but he hovered over me.“Wait, Mr. Felix… wait,” I said, my voice breaking, my heart thundering fast as fear crept into my entire body. Why isn’t the incense taking any effect on him? Am I getting trapped in my own game? I tried to break free from him, but my strength was no match for his.My heart sank as I noticed myself feeling the effects of the drugs. I bit my tongue hard. No, no, Sophie, I can’t blank out here. Suddenly, he shook his head violently, his eyes blinking several times. A wave of re

I slowly turned to face him, forcing a smile that came out awkwardly. Immediately those damn friends of mine slowly excused themselves, dramatically coughing, and walked past me. I bit my lower lip, unsure what to say, as every part of my body trembled with fear. I hope he hadn't heard what Laura had just said. "It's getting late, Sophie. I've been searching for you." He smiled and winked, sliding his tongue on his lower lips...gross, that was disgusting! My skin crawled, and I felt like throwing up, but I forced a shy smile and tapped him on the chest. "Stop it, honey; you are making me shy," I said softly. I can't even believe my own tone… I can't believe I'm really doing something so annoying. He smiled and looked away. What the heck? Is he blushing right now? He turned and took a step towards me, and I slowly stepped back, my stomach twisting with disgust. "Then let's go home, my love. I can't wait to show you more about myself," he said quickly, holding my hands and dra
