I pushed Evie away and spoke seriously, "You're still limping, but you want to follow him. Do you think he doesn't find you annoying enough? Your priority right now should be to heal your injury. Don't rush things."

Evie thought for a moment. "You're right; I should heal my injury first. If I insist on following Quentin now, I'll just cause him trouble. Isn't that right?"
