Chapter 62 The Last Hope

 "Hansen!" I said, almost as if it were a sigh.

And that's when I finally heard his voice.

"Aly, my love, are you okay? Is something wrong? Aly answer me, Aly?" I could hear the panic in his voice, but it was too late.

I woke up in a dark room, and I was on a bed. I remembered the blood on my belly and tried to get up. I had a bandage on my womb, but when I touched it, I could see that it had been a superficial wound, and it had already healed.

My breathing became normal; I didn't even realize that I had stopped breathing from being worried. I looked around, trying to identify something or try to escape, but it was useless.
