Chapter 24 - Alex

I collapse onto the couch and sigh. 

I’m never going to do that again, even if I have to walk home.  I will not be alone with Brandon.  Fortunately, Paul was there, but he didn’t stop his boyfriend until after Brandon had grilled me for what felt like hours. 

However, the gleam in Brandon’s eye tells me that this isn’t the last time he will quiz me about my relationship with David. 

Luckily, I can honestly answer.  As of right now, there is nothing but friendship between us.  However, I’m not going to add anything about the glorious benefits we offer each other. 

I toss my head back against the top of the couch as I take a deep breath.  Not only do I have to watch out for David and his intriguing hands now, but I also must keep a close eye on Brandon, too.  He is getting too close to the truth, and that must never come out.  Ever.
