Chapter 9 - Alex

This weekend sucks, and it just started.  I still can’t believe I allowed myself to be played so badly that I actually drove my friends to the beach.  UGH!!!  Where was my head?  Clearly, it wasn’t thinking straight.

I grab my bottle of beer from the table and take a big swig.  I don’t even think that alcohol can help this weekend.  At least my brain has thought for a little, and I stayed away from the beach.  Well, I wasn’t actually lying when I said that I wasn’t feeling that good.  However, I glossed over the fact that I had to sit in the bathroom for several rounds with my hand.  Getting some relief has helped for a bit, but it isn’t the same as actually having sex with a girl.  The one good thing is that I only have to please myself, and I don’t have to worry about a partner because there isn’t one.

I take another big swig of beer and sigh.  How am I going to make it through the weekend?  Shoot.  I was even getting turned on by David earlier.  This isn’t good.

Chance clears his throat, and I look up at him sitting on the other side David.  I can’t control myself as I snap, “What do you want?”

He puts his hands up in surrender.  “Hey, I did nothing.  I was just going to ask if you are feeling better now?”

I glare at him.  “What do you think?  You guys tricked me to drive my supposed friends to a beach resort after I explicitly said that I won’t go.  Then the first thing that those supposed friends say that sounds like fun is to go to the beach, where there are tons of beautiful girls dressed in teeny tiny swimsuits.  Let’s not mention the fact that I once again told you I don’t want to be around them.  Oh, by the way, Chancey, do you want to see my hand?  I think I’m getting callouses.  If you haven’t figured it out yet, I hate you.”

Paul chimes, “There is no need to get all worked up.  You were the one that agreed to the bet and now you have to either hang in there or give up.”

I shake my head and growl, “I’ll never give up!  He isn’t getting my car for a month!  But you don’t have to work so hard to break me.”  I turn my glare towards Paul.  “It is almost like you are helping Chancey to break me.  I don’t care if I become the biggest a-hole there is.  I won’t lose.  Plus, this is what you get for tricking me into coming.”

Sitting beside Paul, Brandon shakes his head as he puts more food on his plate.  “Well, it wasn’t that hard to trick you, so don’t get so mad at us.  Now, let’s all calm down and enjoy our meal.  This is our first meal together.”

Kai smiles and chimes, “Let’s make a toast.”

I take another gulp of beer.  “Toast to what?  The fact that I can’t get any?”

Kai chuckles and shakes his head.  “No.  To all six of us having fun together.  I’m hoping that this is the beginning of something that we do regularly.”

I huff and roll my eyes.  I slam the rest of the beer and set the bottle on the table.  “Who says that I’ll ever do something like this again with you guys?  I don’t think I will be so easy to trick the next time.”

Paul stops eating and looks at me.  “You better be grateful that we are still letting you sit and eat supper with us.  You are putting a damper on the mood, and we had so much fun earlier.”

I take a deep breath and sigh.  “What?  At the beach?  The place where I can’t go right now.  Shoot, just being in the dinner room of the resort is almost too much for me to handle.  Just be happy that I’m still sitting here and eating with you.”

Brandon mumbles, “You didn’t have a choice.  We won’t let you eat in your room.”

He thinks I didn’t hear, but I did.  However, I bite my lip to keep myself from screaming.  This whole thing is so frustrating, including the fact that David came to our room and threw me over his shoulder and carried me down to the dining area.  I’m not even going to talk about how embarrassing it was.  UGH!!!

I’m even more pissed that I went through everything in the room, and I still can’t find my car keys.  If I could have found them, I would have been back at my apartment by now, and I wouldn’t have to suffer with all these beautiful women walking around.

I shoot daggers across the table at Brandon with my eyes and growl.  “Grrr..”  I know he heard me, but he is ignoring me.

I shove some food into my mouth and continue to growl as I chew my food.  I hate this weekend and it has just started.

“ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!  I’M GOING TO MY ROOM!  I’M NOT GOING TO THE BAR!!!”  I stand up and shout across the table at my supposed friends.  I have had enough.  I can’t take it anymore.  They think this is funny.  Well, here is a news flash.  I don’t think it is funny at all.

I still think that they paid that girl to fall on top of me, but I’m done being nice.

I don’t wait for any response and stomp off across the dining room towards the door.

However, I don’t make it.  After only a few steps, strong muscular arms whisk me off my feet and the next thing I know, I’m thrown over David’s shoulder again.

Well, I’m not going quietly this time.  When he carried me out of our room to the dining room earlier, I didn’t struggle, but not this time.  This time, I’m going to give him hell for doing this to me.

I ball up my fists and start hitting his back while I try to kick him in the gut or anywhere that will make him loosen his grip on me.  “DAVID!  PUT ME DOWN!  I’M NOT A BAG THAT YOU CAN CARRY EVERYWHERE!!”

He slaps my butt and chimes, “Be quiet.  Everyone is looking at you.”

I don’t care.  I don’t want to be here to begin with.

I ignore him and continue to hit and kick.  Paul walks up to us and pats my back.  “Alex, stop acting like a brat and just enjoy hanging out with us.”

I momentarily stop trying to hit David, and I try to look up at Paul.  I grit my teeth and growl, “Yeah, you don’t have a problem because you have your cute little Brandon to cuddle up next to tonight, while I have no one and if I do, I lose my bet and my car.  That won’t happen.”

Kai walks up beside me and bends to look at me as he smiles.  “Well, you aren’t exactly alone.  You are rooming with David, so if you have to cuddle with someone, latch onto him.”

WHAT THE HELL???

I don’t reply.  Instead, I reach for Kai so I can rip him apart.

He chuckles and jumps back out of my reach as his chimes, “I’m just saying…”

Paul shakes his head.  “Kai stop it.  You are making thing worse.”

Brandon walks towards me.  “Come on, Alex.  It will be fun.  Don’t worry about any girls getting close to you.  We have all agreed to put you in the corner with David beside you so you can’t get away and so the girls can’t get to you.”

I frown and shake my head.  “I don’t want to even go.  Why don’t you listen?”

Following behind us, Chance huffs, “Because you are just mad about the bet and not being able to play with any girls, so of course we won’t listen to you.  By the way, we don’t have to pay girls to come up to you.  You should know this by now.  They come up to you on their own and throw themselves at you.  That is exactly what happened earlier.  That girl hoped that her falling on you would lead to something more.”

I shake my head and go to protest, but David slaps my butt again and barks, “We are going to the bar and stop fighting or I’ll do more than box you in a corner.”

I huff, but I say nothing else.  Just wait until I get down.  I’m going to make them pay.

In my mind, I see Alex as being slightly shorter than David. :)
