David grabs the beer out of my hand and hands it across the table to Kai. “I said that you have had enough. You will not get wasted like your friends. I won’t allow it.”
I huff and try to reach for another beer. However, Paul and Kai hurry and move them out of my reach. UGH!!!
I glare across the table at Paul and snort, “I thought you were my friend.”
He sweetly smiles at me and chimes, “I am your friend, but a friend that will set limits for you.”
I glance over towards Chance, who is wasted, and I point towards him. “What kind of friend are you to him? Huh?? He is wasted, and you didn’t stop him.”
Paul shakes his head. “I tried, but Kai wasn’t helping me. If Kai would have helped, Chance wouldn’t be drunk now.”
Oh, that reminds me. I slowly turn my focus towards Kai and point my finger at him. “Kai, what are your intentions with my friend, Chance? I don’t like what I’m seeing and hearing. Oh, did you really promise David anything if he put you in the same room with Chancey?”
Paul turns towards Kai and stares at him. “Did you do that Kai?”
Kai looks like a scared rabbit trying to get away from the big bad wolf that is trying to eat him.
He glances at Chance, who is still awake, but a little out of it and not really paying attention to what we are saying. A small smile dances across his face before it disappears as he turns back towards us. He rubs the back of his neck and tentatively says, “Yes, I asked David to put me with my Chance. He won’t let his guard down when he is around others. The only time that I’m able to get him to be straightforward with me is when we are alone. That is why I have asked David to put us together, and why I have asked to go out as a group together.” He glances over at Chance again and smiles. “He wouldn’t have agreed to go somewhere with me alone.”
Brandon’s head pops up suddenly, and he starts giggling and hiccups. He glances around the table and giggles again before he rests his head back on Paul’s shoulder.
Paul gently puts his arm around his boyfriend and then turns his attention back towards Kai. “You didn’t say what your intention is with Chance.”
Brandon giggles again and slaps Paul’s chest. “K.K.Kaiii is t.t.tr.trying (hiccup) to c.c.co.court Ch.Chancey.” Hiccup.
Paul and I look at Kai as he slowly nods his head.
Before I question him anymore, Brandon climbs onto of Paul’s lap and latches his mouth onto his boyfriend’s neck. Paul’s moan is my cue to leave right now. The horny bunnies are back at it again.
I hit David and huff, “I need to go back to our room now.”
I turn towards him, so I don’t have to watch anything and add, “This is why I didn’t want to come to the bar with you guys. At some point, Brandon will latch onto Paul and practically fuck him in front of us.” I can add more, but I don’t want to.
Paul releases another moan, and I hit David again. “NOW! I NEED TO LEAVE NOW!!”
David looks behind me and nods his head.
As soon as he moves out of the way, I make a mad dash out of the bar and towards our room. I have to get away from the bunnies.
I don’t even look to see what Kai is doing with Chance, but if I am right, I saw love in his eyes, so I don’t think he will do anything unwillingly that will jeopardize a relationship with Chance.
I don’t realize that David is right behind until I’m at the elevator and he asks, “Are Paul and Brandon normally like that?”
I nod my head.
The elevator dings and the doors open. I step in and hit the button for our floor. I sigh as David follows me into the elevator.
I roll my eyes and lean against the wall. “You don’t have to follow me. You can go and have some fun at the bar. I won’t stop you.”
He steps closer to me and chimes, “I’m good.”
The elevator dings and stops. I push off the wall, and I’m through the doors before they are even open all the way. I need to get back to my room. I may need to take another shower tonight to try to relief myself. I can feel my frustrations building again.
I swipe the keycard and open the door. I don’t wait for David before I walk into the room.
Can this night get any worse? I really didn’t like the girl throwing herself at me while we were eating. That has put me on edge ever since it has happened.
I shake my head to clear my mind as I kick my shoes off and head towards the dresser. I think I need another long shower. However, I’ll have to keep my voice down this time, so David doesn’t know what I’m doing.
I hear the door shut as I walk across the room. Without looking back, I call out over my shoulder, “I’m going to take a bath and unwind. I may be awhile.”
I pull open a drawer and grab a pair of boxers and then a tank top. I turn around and head for the bathroom, still ignoring David.
I set my clothes down on the sink and grab a towel before I walk over to the shower and turn it on. As I wait for the water to warm up, I take my shirt off and then my pants. As I snag the hem of my boxers with my fingers, a warm breath brushes past my ear. “Why don’t I join you?”

My stomach flutters as I look into the mirror. The day has finally come, and much faster than I had originally planned, but I’m not afraid. I want it this way. I scan my reflection from head to toe and make sure nothing is out of place. My white tuxedo almost glows, while my hair is shines. I move my black tie a little until it is just where I want it. The corners of my mouth curl upward and I softly whisper, “Perfect.” Chance walks into the room and grunts, “Of course you look perfect. I wouldn’t expect anything less.” He marches upside me and stares at me through the mirror. “I still can’t believe you have actually given up your Casanova title and all the girls. But I’m glad you have finally found your true happiness. Too bad your grandparents aren’t here to see you, though. However, I’m sure they are looking down upon you, though, and are cheering for you.” Paul steps into the room a
My eyebrows knot together as I look at David. What have I missed? I’m sure we have covered everything. As my mind continues to run through our game plan, David flashes me a huge grin and pulls me flush against his firm and muscular body. His deep husky voice sends a warm shiver through my entire body as he chimes, “This.”Before I can register what he has said, his moist lips capture mine in a passionate kiss.Heat rushes through my body as I snake my hands around his neck and pull him tighter against me. However, before my lust can surge and consume me, the moment crumbles to pieces when Paul and Kai pull us apart from each other.I whip my head around and glare daggers at my friend. At the same time, the cheers and whistles from the crowd in the cafeteria, along with their clapping, roars through my ears. I quickly swallow my words and scan the crowd.Paul nudges my arm.
I walk into the cafeteria with my head held high and my smirk shining bright. This is the day I’ve been waiting for. Today, we will end this headache and teach the person a lesson. With a spring in my step, I stride over to our usual table. I nod at the additional engineering students at and around our table. My smirk grows bigger as a spark dances around in my eyes as I greet my friends. “Hey, guys. Are you ready for this?”Brandon flashes me a brilliant smile as he nods. “I’m ready. My father has everyone on standby and waiting for our signal. Then they will end everything for us.”I nod and sit down next to David. I give him a quick kiss on the cheek. “Hey, babe. Did you miss me?”He turns and smiles back at me. “Yes, I did. Are you going to give me something special to ease my frustrations for wai
Steam rolls off me as I march into the hazer’s office. All eyes immediately turn towards me as I roar, “Tell me you know who this bastard is! I want the person strung up and taken care of right away!”I storm behind my desk and whip around, facing everyone. I narrow my eyes and slam my hand down on my desk. “I WANT ANSWERS, NOW!!!”An eerie silence falls over the room as I snarl and plop down in my chair. The image of Alex’s concerned face flashes through my mind. We have so many people working on this, and someone knows something.Plus, this has dragged on for far too long. This whole thing needs to end, and soon. One way or another, I’ll make sure it ends.Kai clears his throat and shifts in the chair in front of my desk. “We have looked at everything, but we keep coming up empty. What do you want us to do?”I raise an eye
I wrap my arm around Alex’s waist and rest my chin on his shoulder. I softly ask, “Babe, are you alright? You haven’t been talking much the last few days or bickering with Chance.”He hasn’t been doing a lot of things since we left that meeting with his parents. I called my parents to let them know what had happened, and my mother showed up the next day and spoiled him. Even though she was able to get him to smile, the spark in his eyes was still gone.I have lost count of the number of times she told him she is his mother and no one else matters. However, I can understand how Alex is still fixated on his parents picking their business over their family and him. I can’t even imagine the pain he is going through.Later, Brandon’s father confessed he would have helped them had they said they wanted Alex over any business deal. Unfortunately, now, his parents are stuck d
David wraps his arm around my waist as we walk into the restaurant. “Baby, are you sure about this?”I nod and glance over my shoulder at the others. “As long as our friends are here and Brandon’s father, I have nothing to worry about. My parents won’t do anything to make him think less of them. They want his approval. Plus, they don’t want any rumors getting out about them, which is why I picked a popular restaurant for our meeting. Whatever their problem, it must be important, otherwise they wouldn’t have agreed to meet here. They would have requested someplace else a little more private.”Even though my words come out cold, my gut twists and my heart aches. This is all a game to them in order to get ahead in the business world. Why do they insist on roping me in on it, too? They could have had a good life without involving me.He kisses the side of my h
