Tension gathered on my shoulders, my chest tightened and I could feel myself falling backward but I couldn’t stop myself. It was like an out of body experience as I fell. My body hit the ground, and I could feel the cold tiles on the floor. My eyes opened but for some unknown reasons I just couldn’t move.

“You better get the fuck up from there. you said you are not going to be weak, that you will work on yourself. This is not the time for you to be weak. Get the fuck up, Rowan.” I could hear him talking but his voice sounded far.

I could hear the door opening and closing. Then before I knew it my dad’s face appeared in my line of vision. I could see how worried he looked but I couldn’t open my mouth and tell him I was alright. That he didn’t need to worry about me. “Is this how you take care of him!” he bellowed.

I wanted to tell him it was not Steven’s fault I was like that that it was my fault. I not only disrespected and mistreated Aurora. I disrespected the Moon Goddess hers
