THE WRONG TWIN Warm light pooled across Dylan's face, pulling him out of sleep. He blinked and looked around, confused for a moment, before registering the arm draped over his waist. Turning, he found Lucas laying beside him, chest rising and falling in slow, even breaths. Dylan’s lips widened with a smile. Sighing, he rested his head against Lucas's chest as he replayed everything that had happened last night. It took courage and a lot of booze, but he finally confessed his feelings. He thought of the way Lucas had kissed him back instead of pushing him away, and the feel of his cock slipping into his mouth. A quiet satisfaction settled in his chest as his smile grew. He’d finally done it. They were finally together. His hand drifted lazily down the chest, past his belly and toward his boxers when he paused. Lucas's muscles were defined, carved in a way that didn't match the boy who spent afternoons buried in textbooks. Dylan frowned as he propped himself up on one elbow. “When did you get so buff, Lucas?" he joked, his hand traveling further. The boy beside him stirred in his sleep, grunting in satisfaction as he turned toward him. His eyes fluttered open and Dylan met his gaze. His heart stopped. Strong jaws, fire in his eyes, piercing in one ear. Dylan pulled his hand back, confused. "Logan?" he whispered, his breath catching in his throat. Logan tilted his head and smiled. Reaching over, he brushed his thumb along Dylan's reddened cheek. "Was wondering when you'd figure that out.” Dylan froze, the shock rooting him to the spot. Before he could react, Logan leaned in and kissed him, the taste of last night's sexscapade still on his tongue. Dylan jerked back, covering his lips like he had been burned. "No, no, no,” he muttered, shaking his head. He scrambled backward across the mattress so quickly he tumbled off the side. He smacked his arm against the floorboard and a wave of pain shot up his shoulder. But he ignored it and grabbed the duvet instead, wrapping it around his bare ass as his chest heaved. “What the fuck?!” His voice cracked. "You're not Lucas.” Logan remained where he was, one arm behind his head as he watched Dylan with amusement. "No. I'm not,” he answered easily. "But you didn't seem to mind last night though.” Dylan's cheek flushed even more, but the shock switched fast into fury. He opened his mouth to curse, scream, say something he knew he'd probably regret later–but Logan beat him to it. “I have no regrets, Dylan," he said, eyes glinting. “Do you?" A sharp knock cut through the room before Dylan could give an answer. Both boys shifted their eyes to the door instantly. “Hey, Logan?" Lucas's voice, muffled and heavy with sleep, came from the other side. “Are you still with the girl? Slept on the couch and I need to clean up." He hissed. "Someone poured a can of beer over me." Dylan's heart raced, his eyes widening. “Shit." Logan immediately sprung off the bed and crossed to the closet in three strides. "Get in,” he whispered as he yanked the door open. "Now.” Dylan didn't argue. He let go of the duvet and shoved himself between the racks of clothes just as Logan shut the closet door behind him. A second later, the bedroom door opened. Dylan held his breath as he peeked through the slats of the door. He watched Lucas step in, his blonde hair a mess as he rubbed one eye behind his glasses. Standing side by side, the resemblance between the twins was uncanny. They had the same height and the same build at a glance. But Dylan knew them too well to tell the difference. Logan was broader at the shoulders, built heavily like the football captain he was. He carried himself with a rough edge that somehow captured every teenage girl's heart. But Lucas was different. He was quiet, steadied and his posture held none of his brother's swagger. The captain of the school's debate team, he'd learned to hone his voice for speeches and meetings. Dylan could tell the two apart with his eyes closed. Then how the fuck did he mess this up? “Why are you standing by my closet?" Lucas asked, frowning. "Are you trying to steal my sweatshirt again?” “I’m just stretching," Logan said, rolling one shoulder for effect. “Good morning to you too, brother." Lucas ignored him. His eyes narrowed slightly, drifting past Logan toward his room. “I thought… I thought I heard someone in here.” "TikTok,” Logan answered without missing a beat. He walked over to the bed and grabbed his phone from under one of the pillows. "Why don't you go clean up in my room instead, yeah?” Lucas's frown deepened. "Your room? Why?” "Well, uh,” Logan shrugged, "I want to help you tidy up the place. I might have forgotten a condom somewhere and I'm not sure you want to see that.” He grinned. “Last night was so wild and–” Lucas held up his hand. "Spare me the details," he muttered, his voice already tired. "Just pick the place clean before I get back.” Without another word, he turned and walked out, already done with the conversation. The moment the door clicked shut, Logan crossed back and opened the closet door. Dylan stepped out and walked past him immediately. He snatched his boxers and jeans off the floor, yanking them on while Logan watched from the doorframe. "Don't tell me you wanna make this a one-night thing,” Logan said, grinning. Dylan shot him a glare. “This never fucking happened, Logan," he snapped. “If you say a word about this to anyone, I will end you." Logan pretended to zip his lips shut. "You know me,” he said, his arms up in surrender as he stepped closer. “I'm not the type to kiss and tell." Dylan tried looking away but Logan cupped his face, turning his gaze back to him. He leaned in to kiss the boy, and Dylan slapped his hand away. Logan laughed but Dylan wasn't having none of it. He turned for the door without another word and stepped out without looking back. He hurried down the hallway, past Logan's actual bedroom door, and toward the stairs. He quickened his pace as he descended the steps when he suddenly heard a door open behind him. He was already halfway down when Lucas's voice reached him. "Dylan?” Dylan froze, and turned. He found Lucas standing in the doorway, his glasses in one hand and his shirt in the other as he watched him with mild curiosity. "You stayed in the guest room?” Dylan hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Uh, yeah, yeah. Guest room.” Lucas smiled, pointing at his own neck, mirroring a spot on Dylan's. "Got laid, I see." Dylan blinked, his eyes darting in the direction of Logan's room as his heart slammed against his ribs. "Got… laid?” “Your neck," Lucas explained as he huffed a laugh. “You've got a hickey there. Had fun with one of the girls, huh?" Dylan let out a short, humorless laugh at the sheer irony of it before forcing a nod. "Yeah, something like that.” Before Lucas could ask anything more, Dylan began climbing down the stairs again. “I'm sorry, but I've gotta head home," he said, turning toward the door. “My brother's probably already looking for me." Without waiting for a reply, Dylan turned for the door and left without looking back. Lucas watched the door close shut behind him and a frown formed on his face. Slowly, he turned to Logan's room when he heard a door creak open across the hallway. Logan stood by the doorway, a smirk on his face and… a hickey on his neck.HUTLogan was still trying to catch his breath when he heard the whistle blow from the football field. Practice was starting. He looked down at himself and quickly fixed his clothes, checking that everything looked good before leaving the area beneath the bleachers. Underneath there was darker and cooler than outside, where sun was shining on brightly colored fields, metal seats casting dark shadows on the grass, vibration of footsteps constantly filling the whole structure.Sophie was standing next to him, smoothing out her hair and her clothes. She checked her reflection in her black phone screen and made sure her makeup was done. Then she smiled at Logan and Logan did not smile back. He only looked away and fidgeted with his sleeve, then his collar, his belt and his shirt again.Sophie noticed. Her smile vanished and she put her phone away. "What's wrong with you?"Logan did not say anything, only adjusted his clothes again.Sophie approached. "Logan."He sighed. "What?""What the

Just as he was about opening his mouth to really calm him this time, Sophie pulled away from him. "Logan?" He blinked. "Yeah?" She frowned. "You haven't paid attention to me." She tilted her head. “Is everything okay? Since… last night, you've just been… different.” Logan grabbed her hand and pulled her back slightly before shoving his hands deep into his pockets. "I am fine," he said simply. "Are you sure?" Sophie asked, not ready to let her worry go. "Yeah." Sophie looked at him for a second and smiled. "We'll meet underneath the bleachers before you practice." Logan looked at her. "Why?" "Because I said so." Sophie leaned in, standing on her toe as she whispered into his ear. "I have something… nice planned for you." Logan closed his eyes, already exhausted knowing what her ‘plan’ was going to be. "Sophie–" "I will be there, waiting," she said as s

WHAT THE RAIN COULDN'T WASH AWAYLogan's shirt was already soaked by the time he got to the end of the street, but he continued to walk without slowing down. Neither did he bother with his hood. The rain felt surprisingly fresh and exhilarating like the only spot on Earth where one could feel everything so clear. He could feel water pouring down on his neck and through the collar of his shirt, he could feel his shoes splashing on the wet road, but none of that seemed important to him now. He had to move; he needed to be anywhere but that room and that bed where Sophie had lain. The streetlights above flashed in the pouring rain, their light shining on the wet asphalt in bright orange lines. Logan kept walking, his hands in the pockets of his jacket, his breath barely noticeable against the warm air of summer. He took out the crumpled cigarette package which he'd hidden there earlier, only two cigarettes left. He picked one up with his wet fingers and put it into his mouth, rummaging i

THE ATTENTION HE WANTED 1 The air that morning was colder than Logan expected it to be. He stepped out of the black SUV and put his backpack on his shoulder, gazing at the school building he was familiar with. Its glass entrance reflected the pale sun rays, while the students crowded the passage in groups of two or three, holding coffee cups or laughing out loud on their way to their classes. Lucas approached him and closed the car door. None of them said a word. They’d hardly communicated since the previous night, and, strangely enough, Logan preferred it that way. After all, he had no idea what his brother was going to say to him. Whatever he had in mind was the last thing he wanted to listen to at this time in the morning. So the silence was the best option they had. The brothers went along the sidewalk silently and their footsteps fell almost simultaneously on its concrete surface, but none of them turned their eyes to the other. Logan cast a glance at Lucas. He was wearing
