"I tried to prepare one of my medicines, but I'm scared that it won't work." Thea revealed.

"Why do you say so? Your medicines always work." Gregory reminded. And he pulled her close. "Do not be dubious of yourself, Theadora. You make one of the best medicines." He complimented.

"But why haven't I been able to heal myself yet?."

"You didn't make yourself this way."

"I know, I was born this way. Weak and useless. Even the goddess hated me so much that she had to make my mate suffer this much." She lamented, gazing at Ethan who was still unconscious on the bed.

"What did you say?." Gregory thought he misheard when Thea mentioned her mate.

"Alpha Ethan is your mate? Your wolf could finally recognize its mate?." He questioned.

Thea wanted to keep it a secret from Gregory since she knew how much he loved her, even though they were half siblings. She also didn't want anyone to know about her mate yet. Especially when it was Ethan.
