"Let go of me" Thea shouted and struggled to pull herself out of Ethan's tight grip as he pulled her away with him. immediately the bodyguards brought her into the castle, and Ethan took her up to this extent. He doesn't speak but continued to pull her with him aggressively until she becomes too resistant. Thea almost tripped due to how he handled her roughly and he picked her up and headed toward the room.

She hits his shoulders and kicked her foot vigorously just to make him leave her.

When Alpha Ethan reached their Chambers, he kicked the door open and took her straight to the bed, and dropped her on it violently. He didn't care if she fell which wasn't possible as the bed was very big enough to condone any movement done on it.

"Don't think I would ever submit to you. Ethan." She declared bitterly at him.

"You don't have to do it willingly, princess. I'm used to getting things done the hard way." He grimaced mockingly at her and he left.

"I hate you! I hate you Ethan Reigns." She screamed furiously and threw a vase against him which ended up shattering on the floor as it didn't meet him before he exited the room.

On getting outside, Ethan bumped into Thea's handmaiden.

"Take care of her. I want to meet with the princess tonight." He informed.

"My Lord, I'm sorry about the princess's behavior. it- It's unlike her. She isn't feeling well." Her handmaiden Ina fell on the floor instantly and pleaded. She was trying to come up with an excuse for Thea's behavior so as far Ethan to forgive her but it was all futile. She had done that severally.

Thea had just been caught trying to escape with her childhood love who is an Omega. There were rumors that she was still seeing him and unexpectedly after Alpha Ethan had his men monitor her they finally caught her red-handed on her escape with Max.

Ethan got angrier as he thinks of the fact that his mate saw him as inferior and wanted to escape with another man. An Omega for that fact. He went straight to the dungeon where he had the Omega captive.

On reaching the dungeon, he saw that his men already had Thea's lover all beaten up. The werewolf who is an Omega was almost unrecognizable as he was beaten to a pulp and almost dead.

Ethan cared less, he only came to see the man whom his wife had wanted to leave him for.

The guards opened the gate and Ethan went in to meet the injured man who was chained to the walls and stripped naked. His platinum blonde hair turned red and soaked with blood.

He wanted to raise the man's face by holding his jaw but a bodyguard prevented him.

"Your highness.. he is filthy and doesn't deserve to be touched by you." The guard protested and volunteered to help him make the Omega look up.

The sound of the whip that landed on the body of the Omega was enough to awaken a sleeping person and instantly, Maxwell screamed out loudly due to the excruciating pain he felt from the whip.

His whole body trembled as he stared at the vicious eyes of a merciless Alpha. Who is well-known and feared in the whole of Reigns kingdom.

Alpha Ethan had a policy that was not to show mercy to anyone who betrays him and Maxwell knew that his case was no different. Imagine trying to run away with the wife and mate of the Alpha? It was more worst than an ordinary betrayal. A mate is a precious gift from the moon goddess who isn't supposed to be touched or stared at by another werewolf especially when she is the destined mate of an Alpha.

Ethan arranged his regalia and took a seat on a stool in front of the tortured man.

"Stop." His hoarse voice thundered in the dark dungeon. He was getting irritated by the endless screams of the Omega.

"How dare the likes of you try to run away with my wife? The Luna of Dark-Night park! Do you have no regard for me?." He inquired coldly.

"Th- Thea doesn't love you." Maxwell stuttered, and another whip landed on his back and it almost peeled his delicate skin.

Maxwell yelped in pain.

Ethan was more infuriated by his utterances.

"Do you have a death wish Omega?." He asked coldly, but it sounded more like a threat.

"How dare you mention the name of the queen in that manner?." The bodyguard who didn't get tired of torturing him endlessly asked angrily.

"You're a gutsy man to say that to my face. Maxwell Hills." He complimented.

"But it won't last for long and when I'm through with you, you will regret everything you uttered here. Word by word." He grinned.

"Don't give him food or water and don't torture him anymore. I would decide a punishment for him when I'm done with the queen." He announced and left.

"Ethan Reigns, you will regret forever separating us," Max yelled and the bodyguard couldn't resist whipping him more to make him stop talking.

Ethan couldn't believe that Thea wanted to leave him for a man like Maxwell..he saw nothing worthy about Maxwell to Make Thea fall in love with him. Except that she had a bad taste in men. Maxwell was only sharp-tongued and there was nothing commendable about it.

"Your highness.. place let me do my job as the Alpha requested. Your refusal will only put me into trouble. A deeper trouble than we're already in." Ina begged but Thea was Unwilling.

"I do not want to please my husband tonight so I am not wearing any of that."

"It is his orders, it is his request for me to dress you up this way. I do not have a say in it." Ina almost cried. Thea was making her job hard for her and it made her confused. She was scared that Thea's punishment might increase if Alpha Ethan gets more infuriated by her refusal to comply with him tonight. She didn't know what was pondering in the thoughts of Thea but she suddenly allowed her to dress her up fully. Ina made sure to put her efforts into making Thea look beautiful that night. Enough to please Ethan.

"I would like to visit the bathroom before we leave." The requested but Ina stared at her dubiously. She doubted that Thea just wanted to ease herself and assumed that it was another escape plan of hers.

"Your highness?."

"Do not be bothered, I won't escape." She spoke bitterly with tears-filled eyes which Ina hoped won't drop and ruin her makeup.

"Escaping is the last thing on my mind. If I don't have Max to leave with me."
