Chapter 121: It's Time
"Happy Birthday, Kenneth!" With a loud round of applause, the Wright family greeted Kenneth on his very first birthday, celebrated only amongst family and close friends within the first-carat conference room of The Second Diamond Hotel.
Gabrielle stood in front of an elevated platform, holding her son with Kyle next to her.
They had a table ready for Kenneth to crawl to and on top was a small round cake for him to shatter!
Everyone saw the delight in Kenneth's eyes as he giggled his way to reach for the white cake. While everyone cheered him on, he tasted the frosting before finally indulging!
"Atta boy!" Kyle exclaimed while he watched his son, blocking the side of the table, making sure he does not fall. "Eat some more!"
"Ooops! Careful!" Gabrielle exclaimed, seeing her son move towards his father, giving Kyle a piece of cake!
