Chapter 16 : Trouble around

I literally forgot about it and I don't know if he said something to Kane.

Gulping down nervously, I mutter. "He said he just wanted a briefing. That's it"

"Just a briefing? But why you?" His voice becomes a bit harsh.

We're still in the same position, my hand still working and I'm glad that he's not looking at me. His eyes are closed when he's asking all this.
