Scarlett's Pov

"is it me or does this man look soo fine from this angle" I thought looking up.at him as he carried me up the stairs, nona behind us

"I wonder what his lips taste like,they look so plump, I wonder how he's going to react if I just kissed him, I wonder if he would take m........"

SCARLET?!!!!! said valerio snapping me out of my forbidden thoughts

"did you hear what I just said" said valerio looking at me

And for a split second I could see him looking at me amused , but it was gone as quickly as it came

"did you hear what I just said Scarlett" he said repeating it

u-uhmm w-h-ha-a-tt i-i uh-h-h w-w I said sputtering

"I was asking if you've had anything to eat" he said in an amusing voice almost breaking a smile

no I haven't I said suddenly feeling very self aware " how could I" I thought to myself "its been a rollercoaster of emotions and events today and I haven't even had time to process it"

I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't realize that we've reached valerio's room..

I almost gasped!!........ his room was like a whole apartment

"more like royal bedroom" I thought my eyes wide it has Soo much space, regal color palette with rich jewel tones, luxurious fabrics like velvet and silk, and large, ornate furniture, intricate tapestries that could make any woman blush handcrafted wooden elements, gold and crystal lighting and a stunning view from windows.

it looks like I stepped into a kings bedroom

"are you ok" said valerio again snapping me out of my thoughts his face almost comical "you look like you've seen a ghost" his eyes sparkly with amusement

"i-i-i u-u - u h h h m m m" I stammered again trying to get the words out color draining from my face

we should really get you something to eat "he said almost breaking into a smile "you look pale"

great!! he must think I'm some dumb bitch, just perrfect

non please make sure she has something to eat he said getting ready to leave

wait.... w- where are you going

I have some things to take care off

but your hands....

"I'm fine" he said sharply his face hardening "I have some business to attend to" he said walking out

why is he suddenly being mean to me?

I said muttering under my breath watching him go

"my child" said nona in this motherly like tone "valerio's right, you really need to eat something, you look a bit pale"

"I'm fine nona" I said softly suddenly loosing appetite

nonsense!!!! you're a new bride, you're supposed to resting and enjoying your honeymoon phase.

I'll leave you to rest a little, let me tell the maids to bring you something to eat, just ring the bell besides the bed if you need anything" she said exiting the room....

Honeymoon!!! I said chuckling a little "is there anything like that in this marriage??, for a man that barely looks at me??

"oh well..... one day down, 364 days to go" I said standing up to look around

jeez.... his bathroom is bigger than my whole apartment I said stepping in

sigh.... so I'm married to the family's half sibling, the black sheep of the family, I wonder why they call him that, the outcast, the result of the father's affairs

at least he's rich..... at least stepmother wouldn't be Soo mad at me anymore for being a disappointment in the family "i thought as I stepped into the shower.......

" ugh.... why aren't my clothes here yet I thought Roxane was supposed to tell the movers about the change in location, I should give her a call to know what's taking them this long" I said coming out of the shower wrapping a small towel around me

**footsteps approaching**

"nona, can I have the address of this place, I want to give the movers my new address" I said not looking up

......Silence..... I look up to see valerio staring at me his face frozen except for that look in his eyes......

longing filled with lust and desire sending me shivers down my spine and making feel damp and hot below my waist making me almost drop my towel......

did he just make me aroused just by looking at me???

suddenly feeling very shy I slowly adjusted my towel while clearing my throat softly

that seemed to snap him out of the trance he was in

"I came to get some files" he said not meeting my eyes for a second before meeting them

it's like I caught him in his most vulnerable moment

he suddenly started walking towards me.......

oh boy.... what's he going to do now I thought trying to maintain eye contact with him

"Scarlett" he said holding my gaze his voice sounding low almost like a growl

"yes" I said trying to keep my voice steady between with my heart pounding like crazy, my legs feeling sticky

"I'm going to need you move, you're standing in the way" he said looking at me his expression unreadable

great.... just great I thought to myself

s-sorry I said while trying to move "I didn't realize"

**knocking**

"sir there's someone here to see yo...." said a young male butler

GET OUT!!!!! GET THE FUCK OUTTTTTTT "said valerio his voice loud and thunderous

"i- I'm really sorry sir I wasn't aware madam was her........

I SAID GET OUT!!! valerio screamed his approaching the young butler his hands reaching into his jacket

to my horror he brought out a gun *****

VALERIO STOP!!!! I said rushing towards him "STOPPP THIS RIGHT NOW" I said now besides him trying to pull the gun away from him

but he wasn't even looking at me , it was as if he hell bent on murdering the butler

RUN!! I said to him frantically still trying to pull the gun away from valerio not noticing that my towel was almost coming off completely the butler finally leaving

he looked at me and suddenly stopped dead in his tracks took one long look at me, tucked his gun away and left without another word..

what the fuck just happen now ............
