“Cassie,” she said softly, her voice almost drowned out by the hum of conversation in the cafeteria. “Can I… can I talk to you for a minute?”

There was hesitation in her tone, a familiar vulnerability that Cassie wasn’t used to hearing from her.

Cassie inhaled slowly, her defenses resolving, but curiosity tugged at her. She nodded once. “Alright.”

She crossed the small space between them and slid into the chair opposite Veronica.

Up close, she could see the faint smudges under the woman’s eyes, as though she hadn’t been sleeping well.

The glamorous, sharp-tongued Veronica, who always seemed in control, looked smaller today... just like she looked at the filming set the first day.

Cassie leaned back, crossing her arms loosely. “What’s up?” she asked, her tone casual, though her guardedness was clear.

Veronica’s fingers tightened around her cup before she set it down carefully on the table. She took a deep breath as though summoning every ounce of courage she had.

Cassie leaned back in her chair, her eyes never leaving Veronica’s face. It felt almost surreal, sitting here, talking like allies rather than adversaries. But the weight in Veronica’s voice when she mentioned “secrets” was not something Cassie could brush aside. “Alright,” Cassie said slowly, her voice laced with curiosity. “You’ve caught my attention. What exactly do you know about Rachael?” Veronica didn’t answer immediately. Instead, she swirled her tea slowly, as if weighing her words. “Before I say anything,” she began, her tone deliberate, “you should understand something. Rachael doesn’t just play dirty... she lives in the dirt. She thrives on manipulation. And while I was… "blinded by my own jealousy, I let her pull me into her games more times than I could count. This industry is full of shit. I've known Rachael for almost five years now.” Cassie’s lips pressed into a thin line. That didn’t surprise her in the slightest. Veronica finally raised her eyes, locking them on

  • I Married His Enemy: Return Of The Forgotten Princess    Unexpected Encounter

The lobby of the studio was buzzing with its usual rhythm... actors running lines, assistants scurrying back and forth with schedules in hand, and the faint sound of conversations blending with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee from the small café tucked into the corner. Cassie sat comfortably in one of the plush armchairs, a steaming cup of cappuccino cradled in her hands. Around her, her three mentees... Daniel, Evan, and Lila... occupied the seats nearby. The four of them looked like their own little team, separate from the chaos of the rest of the building. Evan leaned forward animatedly, waving his hands as he explained his thoughts on a particular scene they were brainstorming. His enthusiasm made his curls bounce with every word. Daniel, more thoughtful and calm, countered his argument with quiet logic. “But if we push that idea too much, the audience will see it coming. It has to feel natural, not forced.” Lila scribbled notes furiously in her small notebook, her brow

  • I Married His Enemy: Return Of The Forgotten Princess    Absolutely No One His Hurt Daughter!

Inside the boardroom, the meeting droned on. Numbers... Projections... Charts flickering on the big screen. Executives spoke in turn, their voices blending into a monotonous whisper. But Nikolai's attention wasn't there. For a man known for his cold efficiency, it was unusual-unthinkable-that he was distracted. Yet he was. His gaze kept flickering to the sleek watch on his wrist, counting the minutes that dragged like hours.Something gnawed at him. Something didn't feel right with him. When he had handed Emily to Janet earlier, he'd felt her tiny fingers clutch his suit jacket tighter, almost like she didn't want to let go. He had bent down, kissed her forehead, and whispered promises that he'd be right back. She had nodded with her big eyes and sweet smile. Now, those eyes haunted him. He was having this strange feeling that his daughter wasn't okay.He forced himself to sit straighter, pushing the unease down. 'She's fine. Janet is capable. Emily will charm the whole office.'But

Janet’s jaw tightened, but when she looked down at Emily again, her smile returned, though now it was sharp, almost predatory. “Well then,” Janet said lightly, her voice dripping with false cheer, “shall we go explore, sweetheart?” Emily beamed and nodded eagerly. She skipped beside Janet, clutching her small backpack strap. At first, Janet played the part perfectly. She pointed out the different departments, leaned down so Emily could see rows of employees typing away at their computers, and even let her press the button that opened the conference room doors. Employees fawned over Emily, showering her with compliments, and Emily laughed happily, waving her tiny hand at them all. But with each smile Emily received, something in Janet twisted tighter, darker. Every giggle the child let out was another reminder that Nikolai, the man she had worshiped silently for years, would never look at her the way he looked at this little girl, and probably her mother too. The envy burned h

  • I Married His Enemy: Return Of The Forgotten Princess    Nikolai Took Emily To Work

The glass doors of Rosewood Inc. glided open with their usual hiss, but instead of the cold silence that usually followed Nikolai Rosewood’s arrival, a ripple of disbelief swept across the whole lobby. The man they knew... their terrifyingly brilliant, cold, and merciless CEO... was usually accompanied by silence sharper than knives, a phone pressed to his ear, his long strides unbothered by anyone in his path. But today…Today, Nikolai Rosewood walked in carrying a little girl. Her curls bounced with each of his steps, her tiny pink shoes tapped lightly against his black tailored suit, and her gray eyes gleamed as she waved enthusiastically at the stunned employees.“Good morning!” she chimed, her voice like a silver bell in the quiet hall.No one moved. For three seconds, it seemed as though the building itself forgot how to breathe. Then, a flustered receptionist stammered, “G–Good morning, Mr. Rosewood!”“Good morning, Mr. Rosewood!” echoed another, the tone nervous but filled wi
