CHAPTER SEVEN: Coffe and Art Cafe

“You should eat this.” I shove a slice of apple in Amara’s mouth. “You’re eating unhealthy foods. It’s bad for the baby,” I scolded her.

“It’s because I’m craving for it. More and more of it,” she reasoned out and ate a fork-full of spaghetti behind my back but I caught her.

“No more spaghetti for you young lady.” I snatched her paper plate and jabbed it on the trash can.

“I haven’t finished it yet!” she complained. “What a waste!” She dropped her back on the bench.

“Hi! Guys...” Victoria placed her bag on the table.

“Hi, Ria. Now that you’re here I’d better go.” I picked up my things and put them in my backpack. “Don’t spoil her okay?”

“I won’t,” Victoria assured and winked at Amara. The latter giggled.

“I saw that.” I glared at them both. Amara frowned and Victoria chuckled.
