CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT: Didn’t Invite Me?

The maids including the elderlies lowered their head in submission. I was the only one left who remained with chin up meeting my father’s eyes. His dark and dangerous aura reeked out of him. It was so strong that everyone in the room were able to feel it.

With a stern look on his face he said, “you are all having fun and you didn’t even invite me?”

I blinked multiple times. I couldn’t believe what he said and I didn’t even expect him to say it. The stiff in the air was sliced into pieces by his words and the smile that carved on his lips.

The maids were also surprised even the elderlies. The head chef brought another chair and placed it beside me. Now I am sitting between two persons with menacing aura. Their aura combined to mine could match Grip’s deadly aura. Speaking of him. It has only been three days but I already miss him.

“Eat more, Serra, so that you could grow some inches.” Dad tapped my head. “Miracles do happen,” he added referring to my height and laughed.
