Natasha furrowed her brows. “What's wrong?”
“Natasha, you made a big mistake on your research. I just found out that there's only one Mr. Darkmoon and that is Alexander Darkmoon. Jackson Darkmoon is a fictional character from a novel and he doesn't exist in real life.”
“What?” Natasha's body froze.
“Natasha, you have to run, now!” Tiana pleaded.
“Wait,” Natasha paused, her body already shaking. “Do you mean I…I stole from…Alexander Darkmoon?” She asked, her voice about to disappear.
“Yes Natasha. I just did a research after a neighbor called me just now and said she saw a fleet of black cars pulling up in front of our apartment. She talked with the armed men who came out from the car and they said they came looking for you. But she told them you left home and haven't returned so they left. Natasha, you need to find somewhere and hide. Alexander Darkmoon is looking for you.”
Natasha inhaled sharply as she scanned her environment. “How could this be? But the image I found on the internet about Jackson Darkmoon looks exactly like the one I stole a ring from.”
“Jackson Darkmoon is a fictional character of Alexander Darkmoon. I just found the novel and the novel also states that Jackson has a multi-million dollars ring like Alexander. At the end of the novel, the writer stated that the story and image are about Alexander Darkmoon but they only changed the name from Alexander to Jackson.”
Natasha's hand shook as she struggled to keep her phone up. “What do I do?”
“Since you've paid your sister's hospital bills already, quickly lodge in a not well-known hotel. Don't come out. If you need anything, just tell me and I'll bring it to you, ok?”
“O…ok.” Natasha replied. She was already trembling from fear. Alexander Darkmoon! She just made the biggest mistake of her life.
Natasha hurried out of the vicinity of the hospital. She checked her map for the closet not well-known hotel around her. Her hands shook as she opt for a quick reservation on their site.
In the back seat of the taxi, Natasha was lost in thoughts. This can't be happening. She stole from Alexander Darkmoon and also gave her first time to him. What is he going to do to her? How did he find out about her?
Due to the crowd of people around the area, the taxi had to stop some meters away from the hotel she booked. Natasha paid the driver and alighted down. She hurried pass the flood of people on the street, bumping into some of them and muttering apologies.
She twisted her body and was about to pass through a small space between two people, only for her to accidentally knock down a woman's tray that's filled with grains. The contents on the tray were now scattered across the street.
The woman immediately launched at her.
“Are you blind? Girls like you who are supposed to be in school are here wandering around the street. Who's going to pay for my grains?”
“I'm sorry ma'am. It was a mistake. Can I have your bank account so I can transfer the money for you…?” Natasha was running out of time. The hotel was still some walks away and she needed to get there quick.
“Look at you. So because you have money, you purposely knocked down my tray so you could ask for my bank account and show off that you have money, right?” The woman ranted.
“No…I.”
“What's happening here?” A man asked as he approached them.
Natasha turned to explain but the woman had already started ranting to him.
Not far away, three black cars parked along the road, observing the scene in front of them.
“Contact the boss. Tell him we have found her.” The man at the back said as he opened the door and stepped out of the car.
Two men alighted from the cars behind, fully dressed in black. Their faces were covered, making them more mysterious. The people on the streets moved out of the way as they approached the scene.
“She must pay me double the amount for her arrogance. Just because she's leaving a good life, does that mean she'll be mean to us who are living on the street and trying to make a living for ourselves…”
The woman paused as a hand covered in black gloves stretched a bank card towards her. Natasha and the woman turned at the same time to see three muscular men dressed in black standing behind them.
“We apologize for the trouble she caused. The money in the card is more than enough to cover up for damages. If you'll excuse her, she has somewhere to be right now.” The man said and the two men behind him walked forward, grabbing Natasha's hands.
Natasha's body stiffened as she felt two strong hands grab her. “Let go of me!” She struggled, trying to free herself from their grasp.
No, how did they find her so quick? Was there like some sort of tracker on her body? She knows she's doomed if she allow these men take her away.
“Ma'am, do co-operate with us as reluctancy can lead to us using physical means to make you co-operate.” The man stated calmly.
Natasha's body shook at the realization of how big of a trouble this matter had become. Worse of all, she had already sold the ring and spent more than half of the money to pay her debts and pay Elina's future medical bills. If she allow them take her, where will she get the money to pay back? They looked intimidating but she's certainly not going down without a fight.
Just as Natasha was about to fight the men holding her, she felt two fingers hit a spot on her neck and her consciousness faded.
One of them threw her on his shoulder and carried her back to the car. He placed her in the back seat and they all got into their car before zooming off. The tyres of their car raising dust and leaving behind curious passerbys on the street.
Time flew by in the speed of light. As the sky darkened, Natasha could hear faint music playing outside. She dropped the file then laid flat on the bed.The door creaked open and Alexander walked in. She turned to look at him. “Are you ready?” He asked, slipping two black gloves off his hands. Natasha noticed his hands were stained with…blood. Alexander placed the gloves on the table then walked into the bathroom. Natasha sat up at the sound of water running. She stared at the gloves on top of the table. A million questions ran through her head. Why was blood on his hand? Was he injured? Or, did he kill someone? Natasha looked up as he walked out of the bathroom. “The event has started, let's go.” Natasha stood up and arranged her clothes and hair. She glanced at Alexander through the mirror. He pulled two black things from his pocket. One was bigger than the other one.“What's that?” She asked, turning to him. “Where can you easily reach to grab something to protect yoursel
Alexander jumped back into the pool. “So have you thought of how you're going to get the flashdrive tomorrow?” Natasha sighed. She hasn't even come up with a plan. “I don't think I'm going to do well. I haven't stolen from someone before?” Alexander paused and looked at her. She understood what that look meant. “I mean, I haven't stolen from someone I haven't researched about.” She quickly corrected. “Everything you need to know about him is on that file. What else do you want to research?” Natasha looked down as she kicked the water. “The big grammars on the files are too much. It's not that I can't read it, the grammars are just too much to process. If I had done the research, I'd have written it in a way even a five year old would understand. Besides, I don't mind staying up late to do my own research.” Alexander scoffed. “The last research you conducted, how well did it go?” He asked. Natasha's face turned red with anger. “It was a small mistake, ok. If I had been sober eno
Natasha stood up and unzipped her dress. She let it slide down her body then took of her pant and bra. Alexander glanced at her as he tied the ropes on his boxer. His eyes lingered on her full round boobs. Her nipples were pink and erect. He ran his tongue above his lips.Natasha picked the swimsuit and slid it on. After she was done, she looked at Alexander, who's eyes looked like they were about to eat her up. “I'm ready.” She said. “Let's go.” He said then walked to the door.Natasha followed him. They walked out of the room and turned into a passage where two burly men stood at the entrance. They both gave a slight bow to Alexander as he walked pass them. When they got to the end of the passage, a big pool came in sight. Alexander turned to look at her. “Are you ready?” He asked. Natasha replied with a nod. She stared at the water like it was about to swallow her. “Come.” Alexander grabbed her hand and led her to the edge of the pool. “Sit and put your legs in the water.”
Getting to where Alexander was, Natasha quickly linked her fingers with his. All the men were shocked. Alexander looked down at her. “You should have remained in the helicopter.” He said, holding her hand tight. Natasha met his gaze. “Isn't this where we were going to?” “No. Let's go.” Natasha nodded and followed him. A small smile formed at the corner of her lips when she was the look on those men's face. When they reached the helicopter, she climbed in first and Alexander sat beside her. Now she could breathe well, because Alexander was beside her and she no longer felt scared. The helicopter rose from the helipad and soon they were back in the sky. Natasha kept her gaze outside the window. She was a bit nervous. Those men were holding guns, and Alexander was with them. What were they doing? She was curious. “Mrs. Natasha,’” Wilson suddenly called out. Natasha turned her gaze to meet his. She saw a brown envelope in his hands. His chair turned automatically to face her aft
Natasha barely finished her meal. She was lost in thoughts. Where was Alexander taking her? What task was he planning on giving her? She spaced out for almost 10 minutes straight. Her mind was in a mess. She looked down at her plate, her appetite gone. She managed to eat the remaining berries on her plate but she left the rest. The clock ticked, and every tick made the air thicker. She pushed open the door to her room, only to find a black and white gown laying on her bed. She trailed the fabric with her finger. It was soft against her touch, but it also made her curiosity grow bigger. Whatever task he had planned, he was serious about it. She could tell. He said failing was not an option, but a part of her wanted to test him and see what he'll do if she failed. At noon, Amora appeared in Natasha's room. “You need to get ready. Godfather hates it when someone keeps him waiting.” She whispered to Natasha. Natasha nodded and stood up from the bed. She had a quick shower and slid
Natasha grabbed his shirt to support her swaying body. Alexander held her head and deepened the kiss. He didn't go easy on her. He made sure he punished her little mouth. She tried to catch up and follow the rhythm, but she was inexperienced, and he was going to teach her how to do it properly. He held her chin and pulled his lips away from hers. She gasped for air as her eyes fluttered open. She was breathless and her lips were soft and red. It made him want to kiss her again, but he had punished her enough.Alexander grazed her lips with his thumb. “You taste so good,” He said, wiping his lips with his other hand. “but you are inexperienced.” She exhaled sharply. “Then teach me.” His eyes narrowed. “Be careful what you wish for.” He said then released her chin.Natasha looked down as she tried to steady her breathing. “You can go back to your room.” She nodded, but as soon as she raised her knee from the ground, she winced in pain. Her knees were red from kneeling for too lo
