Chapter 2

Out of all her sugar babies, Sam was the most fearless and the most temperamental.

Tanya loved him, and she doted on him a lot.

A year ago, Tanya’s father passed away in an accident. She was an only child. Yet, she made me handle her father’s funeral just because a drunk Sam came over. He had wanted her to accompany him.

At midnight, Sam sent me an intimate photo of them to taunt me.

“Tanya is too tired from tonight. Sorry, but you have to take care of her family matters then.”

I had no idea how I survived that day. My heart ached so much that I could hardly breathe.

Before Sam appeared, Tanya was a very filial daughter.

From that day on, I knew it was not a purely physical relationship. She had fallen for him.

She loved him, and she loved him so much that she was willing to step all over me.

“My love, why don’t you believe in me? Fine. I’ll get a doctor to examine him tomorrow. You’ll believe me then!”

Tanya’s phone call made me come back to my senses.

I did not expect that after I had clearly rejected the request, she would still go ahead with it just to appease Sam!

The next morning, Sam walked in with a female doctor.

Tanya was shocked. She said to him, “No female doctors allowed! It must be a male doctor!”

She looked displeased, as if she was jealous.

Even though she had affairs, she still kept a sharp eye on me.

She would be jealous if I talked to other women.

She obviously had double standards.

Sam’s expression darkened. “How would I know if he had bought the male doctor over? What if you conspire and lie to me?”

Tanya still tried to please him. “You can be the one to find us a male doctor!”

Even though he was not happy, he finally agreed.

They really thought that I was just a puppet.

Then, I silently walked toward Sam and punched him. “Who do you think you are?

“You’re just a sugar baby! How dare you meddle in Tanya and my business?”

I got it off my chest. To goad him, I even said on purpose, “Tanya didn’t manage to hit your KPI because she slept with me seven times this month. She’s tired!”

The number seven shocked Sam.

He immediately broke down and yelled at Tanya, “Why aren’t you admitting to it? He’s already admitted it!”

Tanya glared at me in annoyance.

“What are you talking about? Do you think it’s that easy for me?”

Sam ran off.

Tanya immediately ran after him to explain.

I found it ironic that when she went after Sam, she instructed the butler, “Get John his medicine!”

Ever since she cheated on me and I had developed an adverse reaction that kept me from touching her, she had spent a lot of money to nurse me back to health. She had coughed up a lot over the past few years.

She kept comforting me, “You’ll get better. Once you’re healed, we’ll have a child.”

She did not know that I had tossed all those medicines away.
