CHAPTER 27

LIAM’S POV.

Freda was ready to leave, yet I was shaking in nervousness.

I wasn’t ready to be left alone in the house again, because I was beginning to be scared of my dreams—memories.

“I’d need to find a job seriously,” I said, but didn’t know when I said it loudly.

“What?” She asked with a weird look on her face, and I widened my eyes in shock.

I didn’t know when I said it out....It was just meant to remain in my head.

I flicked my head numerous times with a look of an apology, but Freda wasn’t ready to buy that.

“Really,” She said and continued almost immediately when she didn’t get any response from me, “I thought we’ve spoken about this,”

“Yeah, so it’s a slip of tongue,” I said and she stared at me for a while, before she ventured out of the house without a single word.

She got straight into her car and after a few minutes, the engine ignited.

Seconds after, She drove out speedily.
